Abstract: The present disclosure relates to music user interfaces. A device, including a display and a rotatable input mechanism, is described in relation to accessing and playing music. In some examples, a user can provide input through the rotatable input mechanism to access a landing screen of a music application. The landing screen concurrently displays an affordance for accessing playlists, an affordance for a list of artists, and an affordance for accessing a list of songs.

Abstract: An all-terrain 4 wheeled vehicle with a frame comprising an arcuate shape. In one embodiment, the arcuate shape extends from a rear axis to a front axis such that there is additional clearance over a typical non arcuate frame at a given ride height. The arcuate frame may also provide for additional structural strength. The frame may also include the ability to attach periphery accessories such as an engine cage, a passenger cage, trailing arms, power train and transmission.

Abstract: A carafe filter cartridge for reverse flow applications where the filter housing and filter media top end cap directs unfiltered fluid into the filter media annular cavity, through the filter media sidewalls. And the filter media bottom end cap prohibits egress, filter fluid from exiting through the filter media end or the annular cavity. Filtered fluid is instead directed out through apertures in the filter housing sidewall. The optimum ratio of annular cavity and/or top end cap orifice area to the respective perimeter is determined to remove the risk of detrimental fluid flow due to air bubble generation.

Abstract: A composition of matter and method of treating HIV with mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) is disclosed. Specifically, MSCs are transduced with vectors incorporating an anti-viral fusion inhibitor, such as a C46-derived peptide. The transduced MSCs are capable of expression the inhibitor and preventing HIV virus-cell fusion.

Abstract: A system is provided for establishing an open communication channel between a client and an advisor. The system includes a client device, an advisor device, and a host device, all connected via a network. If the client interacts with a “talk” portion of a mobile web site, the host will attempt to authorize the request by determining whether the client has sufficient funds in their account to cover a communication with the advisor for a predetermined period of time, where the predetermined period of time is either set by the host, an administer, or the advisor. If the host device determines that sufficient funds are available, the host device then determines whether the advisor is currently available. If the advisor is currently available, then the host will provide a phone number to the client device and update the advisor's queue to reflect the instant communication.

Abstract: An elastomerically self-grasping spear holder for an underwater sling. A cylindrical spear holder has a ring-shaped front part, a solid rear part and a center part containing only two support arms of limited circumferential extent. An elastomeric constrictor placed over the support arms has sides that have a smaller dimension than the diameter of the spear holder. When a spear is placed within the spear holder, the sides of the elastomeric constrictor grip the spear by compression so that the spear is held in position without being held by the operator. The rear part of the spear holder is solid, with a recess on the front surface to receive the rear end of the spear, and a through hole to receive the elastic band connected to a frame.

Abstract: A liquid cooling system for a work vehicle may generally include an expansion tank and a deaeration line having a fluid conduit which fluidly couples the expansion tank to a component of the cooling system. The fluid conduit defines a flow passage therein and includes an upstream portion, a downstream portion and an intermediate portion where the intermediate portion is defined between the upstream and downstream portions. The flow passage within the intermediate portion has cross-sectional shape which restricts liquid coolant flow between the component and the expansion tank during operation of the work vehicle.

Abstract: Apparatus and method pertaining to the calculation of at least one value that represents, at least in part, wireless reception signal strength from the perspective of both a local wireless receiver and a remote receiver that receives wireless transmissions from a local wireless transmitter. By one approach the apparatus directly determines the wireless reception signal strength from the perspective of the local wireless receiver and indirectly determines the wireless reception signal strength from the perspective of the remote receiver.

Abstract: A console is described, having display means, and game control means arranged to control images displayed on the display means, the game control means being arranged to play a game in which one or more symbols are randomly selected as a combination of symbols and displayed on the display means. If a winning combination results, the machine awards a prize. In some circumstances, the console will display an animated character to communicate information to the player. The usage data includes data from the one or more sensors regarding activity in the physical region near the display device. The transmission component is configured to transmit the usage data to a remote server.

Abstract: A request is received at a proxy server for a web page, the request originating from a client network application of a client device. The requested web page includes multiple references to multiple images. The proxy server retrieves the requested web page. The proxy server modifies code of the retrieved web page such that the client network application will not, for each one of images, request that image until the location where that image is to be displayed is within a viewport of the client network application or within a defined distance from the viewport of the client network application. The proxy server transmits the modified web page to the client device.

The user device may receive information that identifies and incoming alert and determine a presentation method for the incoming alert based at least in part on a corresponding rule.
