  • Publication number: 20240020033
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed, including using a memory controller to partition a memory array into a first portion and a second portion, the first portion and second portion having non-overlapping logical block addressing (LBA) ranges. The memory controller assigns a first granularity of a first logical-to-physical (L2P) mapping table entry for the first portion of the memory array designated for a first usage, and a second granularity of a second L2P mapping table entry for the second portion of the memory array designated for a second usage, where the second granularity is not equal to the first granularity. The memory controller stores the first granularity and the second granularity in the memory array, and stores at least a portion of the first L2P mapping table entry and the second L2P mapping table entry in an L2P cache of the memory controller.

  • Publication number: 20240017380
Abstract: A clamp assembly for selectively securing a movable object relative to a fixed object is provided. The clamp assembly enables a movable object to be selectively disposing relative to an adjacent fixed object, within a space defined in part by the adjacent fixed object and another fixed object. The clamp assembly has a frame providing a slot for the movable object and a jack portion for the adjacent fixed object. The jack portion has a threaded support rod mated with a threaded fastener. The support rod ends in an engagement surface that applies a selective amount of force against the fixed object, and thus applies an opposing force against the movable object within the slot, depending on the selective amount of mating of the support rod and the threaded fastener. Thereby, a user may position the movable object in a spaced apart relationship with the adjacent fixed object.

  • Publication number: 20240020278
Abstract: Systems and methods are for improving latency and throughput for metadata-heavy workloads and/or workloads including metadata bursts by decoupling data journal records and metadata-only journal records are provided. According to one embodiment, expedited and independent space reclamation is facilitated by differentiating between various types of journal records chains of which should be retained until different conditions are met. For example, data journal records may be added to data journal record chains within a persistent KV store and metadata-only journal records may be added to metadata-only journal record chains within the persistent KV store. Reclamation of spaced utilized by a data journal record chain may be reclaimed after both remote node data flush has been completed and the completion of a local CP for all records in the chain, whereas records of a metadata-only journal chain may be freed independently upon completion of a local CP for all records.

  • Publication number: 20240016484
Abstract: A transseptal system includes a needle, a guidewire, a handle, and a dilator. The handle defines a needle passage to slidably receive the needle, and a guidewire passage to slidably receive the guidewire. The dilator defines a lumen having a distal region and a proximal region. The dilator is coupled to the handle such that the lumen is open to the needle passage and the guidewire passage. The proximal region of the lumen is sized to simultaneously receive the needle body and the guidewire. The distal region is sized to slidably receive one of the needle and the guidewire on an individual basis. A transseptal puncture and access procedure can be performed, including puncturing tissue with the needle followed by immediate advancement of the guidewire into the accessed area, eliminating the need for multiple instrument exchanges during the procedure.

The infant seat structure described herein comprises a seat that is forward tilted. A pommel is provided at a forward edge of the seat that is wide enough to splay the infant's legs, provides support for the infant, and maintains their position in the seat structure. The infant seat structure also includes a back support and side supports to support the infant's/baby's upright position. The side supports do not extend substantially forward past the infant's hip joints, and therefore allow for substantial splaying of their legs. An infant's legs are able to project outwardly from the seat structure on either side of the pommel, through the two spaces that are each situated between the pommel and side supports. A mat is placed beneath the base and a tether is secured between the mat and seat to inhibit the child imparting a tipping force to the seat.
