Abstract: AC control systems, devices and methods which can, for instance drive a power converter coupled to drive electric machines (e.g., electric motors) advantageously employs an AC controller that implements current mode control utilizing an average current controller in conjunction with and an AC peak current controller with high bandwidth. Such can advantageously employ a fixed switching frequency, and utilize a zero vector to generate the same DC link ripple current as would be generated using field orientated control (FOC) with space vector modulation (SVM).
