  • Patent number: 12348590
Abstract: In general, this disclosure describes a service peering exchange for creating and managing service-to-service paths among applications. For example, a service peering exchange with network connectivity with multiple networks may receive application programming interface (API) data describing APIs for services provided, e.g., by enterprises or cloud service providers (CSPs) and accessible via the networks using service requests. Such services may include, for example, data storage, eCommerce, billing, marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), social media, digital media, financial, weather, search, and other services accessible using machine-to-machine communication over a network. An administrator or customer of the service peering exchange may configure policies that are applied by the service peering exchange to orchestrate service-to-service paths among different services accessible via the different networks.

  • Patent number: 12325999
Abstract: A system and a method for a deployable awning that detects impending storms or other weather events and automatically deploys from a structure to extend out and cover vehicles to protect them from damage due to the storm or other weather event. In one embodiment, a method includes determining that an activating event has occurred. The activating event includes a storm or other weather event. Upon determining that the activating event has occurred, the method includes automatically deploying an awning from a stored configuration inside an awning housing to a deployed configuration such that the awning covers a coverage area of a ground surface adjacent to a location where the awning housing is mounted.

  • Patent number: 12320183
Abstract: Disclosed is a sectional door adapted to withstand high wind load and impact from flying debris. The door includes a glazing bead to secure glazing panels into frames formed by the rails and stiles of the door. The bead is connected with the frame by engagement between extensions on the bead and respective lips along the edges of the frame. The bead is pressed against the frame, causing the extension to elastically flex to allow the extensions to fit between the lips. The extensions are received in gaps formed by the lips to secure the bead in place on the frame. Force on the door cause by high winds is communicated from the glazing panel through the bead and to the frame. The door also includes reinforcements arranged along the rails to communicate forces, such as high wind load forces, from the frame to the edges of the doorway surrounding the door. The reinforcements include endcaps that increase stiffness of the rails to prevent the rails from buckling during severe weather events.

  • Publication number: 20250135281
Abstract: The present embodiments provide systems and methods for aggregating measurements captured by different technologies during a golf swing. By capturing measurements using different technologies, more accurate measurements may be provided to a user by selecting from the measurements, offsetting measurements based on the technologies used, and aligning measurements between devices. Further, by aggregating measurements received from different devices, additional features and functionality may be provided to the user that is absent from any one device used alone. Additionally, by storing the aggregated measurements, users, club fitters and instructors may access and leverage larger databases of measurements to better understand the user's golf swing and to provide better recommendations and instruction to the user.

  • Patent number: 12258801
Abstract: Disclosed is a bottom bracket assembly for a sectional door. Roller wheels engage with tracks along the sides of the doorway to support the door and guide it to move up and down or open and close the doorway. A lift cable connected with lift engagements may be provided to provide an upward bias to the motion of the door to offset the weight of the door. The roller wheels are supported by the bottom bracket assemblies connected at bottom portions of the edge stiles of the door. Each bottom bracket assembly has a bottom bracket fastened to the edge stile and a roller carrier that supports roller wheel. The connection between the roller carrier and the bottom bracket is adjustable to allow the wheel of the roller to be adjusted to a position outward of the edge of the door so that portions of the door, such as a lift bracket connected with the lift cable, do not interfere with the track.

  • Publication number: 20250085035
Abstract: Generally, management of refrigerant in an evaporator of an HVAC chiller is described. Methods, systems, and apparatuses to manage refrigerant in an evaporator can include one or combination of the following approaches: (1) by use of a refrigerant displacement array to physically prevent refrigerant from residing where the array is positioned; (2) by control of the interstitial velocity of refrigerant flow within the volume of the shell of an evaporator; (3) by a phase biased distribution of the refrigerant mixture, so that a gaseous portion is uniformly distributed into the evaporator shell, while liquid refrigerant and oil is distributed into the evaporator shell at a designated area; and (4) by preventing or reducing the occurrence of foaming inside the evaporator through anti-foaming surfaces, such as by the use of refrigerant phobic and lubricant phobic material(s). Refrigerant management can in turn improve the thermal performance and overall efficiency of the evaporator.

  • Patent number: 12178426
Abstract: Methods of joint repair employing sutures and attached fixation devices are discussed. For example, a bone block graft procedure (e.g., Latarjet) is discussed which employs fixation devices to secure contact between graft surfaces of two bones. A suture construct, including a continuous suture loop routed through a first fastener, is secured to a first bone. Looped ends of the suture loop are passed through passageways formed in the two bones. The looped suture ends are further routed through a second fastener. The second fastener is mounted to the second bone and a sliding knot, formed in the looped suture ends, is advanced into contact with the second fastener. The suture is further tensioned using a tensioner device to secure the two bones together.
