    Abstract: An apron for indicating a leak from the joinder of a toilet with an underlying closet flange and soil pipe includes a compliant impervious thin sheet having flat upper and lower surfaces. A circular aperture is centered in the sheet. A colorant-emitting disc is attached to the upper surface of the sheet in surrounding annular relationship about the aperture. The dimensions of the disc are chosen so as to interact with the closet flange and intercept any leaks.
