Patent number: 11921471Abstract: Wearable devices having a primary and secondary power source are disclosed, wherein the secondary power sources are located in links of a band portion of the wearable device and the secondary power sources provide a secondary source of power beyond that provided by the primary power source. One exemplary wrist-wearable device includes a centralized processor pod having a primary power source, a wireless communication radio, and one or more sensors. The exemplary wrist-wearable device further includes a band with a plurality of links. Each of the plurality of links can include a secondary power source. Publication number: 20230331108Abstract: There are currently approximately 16 Million EV's in the World today of various makes, models, and types. Regardless, each type requires periodic charging of the batteries and the number of batteries on board determines the vehicle range. These 16 million cars consume roughly 30 Terawatt-Hours (TWh) of electricity per year, the equivalent of all the electricity generated in the country of Ireland. A hydrogen powered battery charger embedded in the vehicle can create additional green energy to extend the range of the vehicle for a small cost of hydrogen, and can be added after market regardless of the vehicle brand or model, since there are no engines, transmissions, or rear drive assemblies are as found in typical fossil fuel vehicles today. The generator is a PEM type module connected to a electric alternator or DC generator which is housed within the vehicle in a small footprint. Such a unit can have an expected life cycle of some 20 years or more.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 28, 2022Publication date: October 19, 2023Inventor: Kenneth Stephen Bailey

Patent number: 10818063Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically animating a character based on an existing corpus of animation are described. The character may be from a previously produced feature animated film, and the data used for training may be the data used to animate the character in the film. A low-dimensional embedding for subsets of the existing animation corresponding to different semantic labels may be learned by mapping high-dimensional rig control parameters to a latent space. A particle model may be used to move within the latent space, thereby generating novel animations corresponding to the space's semantic label, such as a pose. Bridges may link a first pose of a first model within the latent space that is similar to a second pose of a second model of the space. Animations corresponding to transitions between semantic labels may be generated by creating animation paths that traverse a bridge from one model into another.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2019Date of Patent: October 27, 2020Assignee: DreamWorks Animation L.L.C.Inventors: Stephen Bailey, Martin Watt, Bo Morgan, James O'Brien

Publication number: 20190330058Abstract: An ionization chamber is disclosed that can free ions in water creating polarized atoms of hydrogen and oxygen derived from water in the process. The water can be comprised of non potable waste water. Once the hydrogen and oxygen ions are released, and polarized in the process, the electrons can be aligned such that the end product is the release of hydrogen and the bonding of the oxygen with the free electrons of the other element(s) such as Titanium or Tungsten for example, without high heat or pressure as is normally required. The chamber is comprised of a series of metallic rods, a series of solid nickel mesh plates, a vacuum pump, a dual pulsed D.C. Power supply (from 200-800 VDC pulsed and a low power, ?24 VDC pulsed at 400-600 Hz.), a water bath chamber, a ceramic or teflon encapsulated feeder assembly, and an R.F. Pulse generator.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 26, 2018Publication date: October 31, 2019Inventor: Kenneth Stephen Bailey

Publication number: 20180135883Abstract: The newly discovered, Arc-Flashpoint Technology (AFPT) is the subject of several contemporaneously filed inventions teaching the combining of the properties of ionic plasma with nucleomagnetics as is further disclosed in the Amo Vigen Scrunched Cube Atomic Model (AVSCAM invention). By utilizing dissimilar metals in a special crucible, while a high voltage, low amperage, pulse modulated electrical current is passing between a Cathode part to an Anode part in an aqueous liquid, free floating ions are released in such abundance, that the amount of energy delivered into the system is fully transferred into heat just from the water molecules, by the explosion of the plasma released Hydrogen and Oxygen gasses when the two gasses recombine in the said crucible and ignite to form a controlled explosive reaction that in the process generates a massive amount of heat.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2017Publication date: May 17, 2018Inventor: Kenneth Stephen Bailey

Patent number: 9527958Abstract: This invention relates to a process for the production of a high purity polyether carbonate polyol. The high purity polyether carbonate polyols prepared by the process herein contain a low level of catalyst residues. The process adds diatomaceous earth to a polyether carbonate polyol to form a suspension, mixes the suspension for a specified time period at a specified temperature, and filters the suspension to form the high purity polyether carbonate polyol.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2014Date of Patent: December 27, 2016Assignee: Covestro LLCInventors: Peter Uthe, Stephen Bailey, Robert Gastinger

Patent number: 9438962Abstract: A system which correlates across multiple images to find commonalities among the images and compresses according to those commonalities. The commonalities can be across multiple different images which are unrelated. The information is quantized according to the client that will display the images, and then, and luminance in common color areas are encoded as a single encoding. A WAP application may also be downloaded.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 2007Date of Patent: September 6, 2016Assignee: UBIQUITYInventors: Kenneth Stephen Bailey, Christopher Carmichael
