  • Patent number: 12044105
Abstract: A valve assembly for delivering a fluid into a wellbore includes a stationary valve assembly that is installed on a production tube that extends down into the wellbore. A dynamic valve assembly that is attached to a capillary line is lowered into the production tube, and the dynamic valve assembly releasably latched onto the stationary valve assembly. The latching of the dynamic valve assembly to the stationary valve assembly also opens a fluid connection between the dynamic valve assembly and the stationary valve assembly, thereby allowing pressurized fluid to flow from the capillary line into the wellbore via the stationary valve assembly. When it is necessary or desirable to perform maintenance or repair operations on the dynamic valve assembly or the capillary line, the dynamic valve assembly and the attached capillary line can all be withdrawn to the top of the well.

  • Patent number: 12012830
Abstract: A dome cap and tail plug assembly for a flow control device include a dome that attaches to an upper end of a body of the flow control device and a tail plug that screws into a top of the dome cap. A seal is provided between the dome cap and the tail plug. The seal can be formed by one or more sealing elements, such as O-rings, positioned between the dome cap and the tail plug. The seal can also be provided by engagement between a shoulder on the tail plug bearing against an end face of the dome cap. Also, threads used to couple the tail plug to the dome cap could be conical threads, which also help to provide a seal between the dome cap and the tail plug.

  • Publication number: 20230258060
Abstract: Gas lift valves, assemblies, systems, and methods include valves having a valve element for selectively placing a fluid inlet in communication with a fluid outlet, a biasing feature to bias the valve element in one of the open position or the closed position, and a single fluid control line actuator for supplying a force to the valve element to overcome the biasing force of the biasing feature and to move the valve element to the other one of the open position or the closed position.

  • Patent number: 9869142
Abstract: A torque anchor intended to block the rotation of a production string with respect to a casing of a well; the torque anchor comprising a body and anchor cassettes comprising a wheel having a circumference and a wheel spindle supporting said wheel, a contact point of the circumference of the wheel being intended to come into contact with the casing, an opposite point being arranged diametrically opposite the contact point. For each anchor cassette, the wheel is mounted on the end of the wheel spindle; a positioning angle comprised between 30° and 180° being defined between a first straight line passing through the center of the casing and the contact point and a second straight line passing through the center of the casing and the opposite point.

  • Patent number: 9771764
Abstract: A torque anchor intended to block the rotation of a production string with respect to a casing of a well, the torque anchor comprising a body, at least two supports mobile with respect to the body, wheels borne by the supports, the wheels being suitable for running on an inner face of said casing, at least one restraining device suitable for exerting a force on said wheels in order to anchor said wheels in said casing. Each restraining device comprises a set of springs suitable for acting on the set of said supports and a guide capable of guiding said set of springs; said guide being borne by said supports; said guide being mobile with respect to at least one support.

  • Publication number: 20150259997
Abstract: The invention relates to a torque anchor which prevents rotation of a tubing string with respect to a casing of a well for pumping a fluid. The torque anchor comprises a frame intended to be mounted in the casing, an internal channel formed in the frame; a cavity in fluid communication with the internal channel, said cavity extending along a radial direction, and an anchoring piston capable of sliding relative to the frame along the radial direction and of exerting torque on the casing, when the pumped fluid contained in the internal channel exerts force on said anchoring piston. The invention also relates to a system for pumping and rotation prevention and a pumping device equipped with such a torque anchor.

  • Publication number: 20070210767
Abstract: A generator controller for controlling a permanent magnet generator where each phase of the generator is connectable to a DC link via electrically controllable switches, the controller characterised by a data processor adapted to receive a measurement of generator current output and a demand current, and to form a current error between the demanded value and the measured generator current; derive a target voltage as a function of the current error; and form control signals for the electrically controllable switches as a function of the target voltage.
