    Abstract: An improved method for administering parthenolide and/or feverfew extract as a dietary supplement is provided, wherein an oral dosage composition comprising a dietary supplemental amount of parthenolide in a predetermined dosage amount of at least about 0.05 mg of parthenolide is orally administered to a patient. At least a portion of the administered oral dosage composition is retained by the patient in the oral cavity for a time sufficient to allow absorption of parthenolide by oral mucosal tissues. Compositions particularly suitable for oral mucosal administration of a parthenolide dietary supplement are also provided.
