    Abstract: The present invention provides for a pharmaceutical composition that provides for the symptomatic relief to an animal (e.g., mammal, such as a human) afflicted with inflammation. The pharmaceutical composition includes a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and at least two of: (a) sunflower extract, (b) rhubarb root extract, (c) milk thistle extract, (d) dandelion extract, (e) feverfew extract, and (f) ginger extract. The present invention also provides for a method for providing symptomatic relief to a human afflicted with inflammation. The method includes administering to a patient in need of such symptomatic relief an effective amount of the pharmaceutical composition described herein, for a period of time sufficient to provide symptomatic relief to the human.
