    Abstract: An apparatus includes a top conductive layer of on an integrated circuit waveguide filter and a bottom conductive layer. The top and bottom conductive layers are coupled via a plurality of couplers that form an outline of the waveguide filter. A dielectric substrate layer is disposed between the top conductive layer and the bottom conductive layer of the integrated circuit waveguide filter. The dielectric substrate layer has a relative permittivity, ?r that affects the tuning of the integrated circuit waveguide filter. At least one tunable via includes a tunable material disposed within the dielectric substrate layer and is coupled to a set of electrodes. The set of electrodes enable a voltage to be applied to the tunable material within the tunable via to change the relative permittivity of the dielectric substrate layer and to enable tuning the frequency characteristics of the integrated circuit waveguide filter.

The support device has a supporting position, wherein the support device supports the sheet and a non-supporting position wherein support for the sheet is removed. A stacking platform is provided below the second location. Control means control the gripper device, the gripper drive means and the support device.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for configuring a mass storage system, in which an array of disk storage devices connect to a storage controller and a plurality of host computers also connect to the storage controller, provide the capability, using a convenient graphical user interface at the host computer, for enabling the user at the host computer to determine the status and configuration of the system. The user can also, using the graphical user interface, modify the system status or configuration. Various graphical user interface techniques can be used including "click and drag" and other user friendly presentations and operations. The system uses either proprietary communications channels between disk drive controller and host computer, or modifies standard protocols in order to enable the necessary communications to occur.
