    Abstract: An apparatus for retrieving a microphone is disclosed. The apparatus contains a body assembly to which the microphone is removably attached. One end of a line cord is retractably attached to the body assembly, and the other end of the cord may be attached to a surface of a vehicle. The apparatus contains a braking device, allowing one to slow the rate of retraction of the line cord into the device.
