  • Patent number: 12204832
Abstract: A first plurality of hardware description language (HDL) files describe a hierarchical integrated circuit design utilizing a simplified HDL syntax that omits specification of logical clock connections for at least some entities in the hierarchical integrated circuit design. The hierarchical integrated circuit design as described by the first plurality of HDL files is processed to automatically add logical clock connections for entities in the hierarchical integrated circuit design for which specification of logical clock connections are omitted in the first plurality of HDL files. Based on the processing, a second plurality of HDL files defining the hierarchical integrated circuit design is generated.

  • Publication number: 20140108284
Abstract: A computer system for securely managing personal information. The computer system comprising a computer configured to receive and store personal information of a monitored individual to monitor the use of the computer by the monitored individual to obtain an activity or inactivity status, and to automatically and electronically transmit an inactivity notification to the monitored individual based on the occurrence of an inactivity status to obtain a response to the inactivity notification.

  • Patent number: 8639635
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for mortality tracking. The method includes electronically receiving contact information of a beneficiary of a life insurance policy. The method also includes electronically receiving a unique identifier of the policyholder of the life insurance policy. The method further includes periodically electronically searching mortality database records to obtain a periodic mortality search result. Upon occurrence of an aperiodic triggering event, the method may further aperiodically electronically search the mortality database records for the unique identifier of the policyholder to obtain an aperiodic mortality search result. The method may include verifying the deceased status of the policyholder upon occurrence of an indication that the policyholder being deceased according to the periodic mortality search result.

  • Patent number: 8311951
Abstract: A computer system for managing personal information. The computer system includes a dedicated computer configured to receive and store personal information transmitted by a user computer to monitor the use of the dedicated computer by a monitored individual to obtain an activity or inactivity status, and to automatically and electronically transmit an inactivity notification to the monitored individual based on the occurrence of an inactivity status to obtain a response to the inactivity notification. The computer system also includes a mortality tracking computer configured to receive mortality information based on a mortality database having one or more records and to search the mortality database records for a unique identifier of the monitored individual to obtain a mortality search result based on a lack of response to the inactivity notification.

  • Patent number: 5304360
Abstract: Conventional plant to produce peroxomonosulphuric acid (Caro's acid) is large and emphasises extensive cooling, so that it is awkward to transport, can be cumbersome to install beside existing plant and can suffer from relatively expensive capital and/or running costs. In the present invention, Caro's acid is generated continuously in relatively small plant adiabatically, by introducing concentrated hydrogen peroxide into a stream of concentrated sulphuric acid in a reaction chamber dimensioned so that the throughput is very fast. In particularly suitable embodiments, the reaction chamber is annular at the points of introduction of the reagents, its width being greater in the vicinity of the hydrogen peroxide inlet than in the vicinity of the sulphuric acid inlet. The hydrogen peroxide inlet is preferably angled backwardly so that its encounter angle with the sulphuric acid stream is over 90.degree. to about 165.degree..
