    Abstract: An adjustable infant holder apparatus includes a support structure that has a base support and a head support situated at opposing longitudinal ends and mutually coupled by a longitudinal stabilizer. A seat is adjustable between an inclined lying position and an upright sitting position. The seat has a base end that is suspended from the base support and a head end that is suspended from the head support. Optionally, at least one of the base and head ends is suspended by at least one cable that permits the seat to swing back and forth laterally. Embodiments include a linear actuator that can force the swinging motion.

    Abstract: A foreign exchange pricing system includes a computer system executing a foreign exchange pricing application, the foreign exchange pricing application capable of displaying foreign exchange pricing information. A dedicated controller, including a joystick, is operatively coupled to the computer system. A user can employ the joystick to display or alter the pricing information. Preferably, the dedicated controller includes a combination of a keyboard and the joystick. The displayed pricing information will preferably relate to either spot rates or forward rates. The foreign exchange pricing system can determine that the joystick has moved in a certain position to invoke a specified procedure.

    Abstract: A weight-sensitive mat or other sensor determines whether a child seat in a vehicle is occupied, a transmitter is proximate to the sensor, and a keychain fob or other portable unit includes a receiver and an alarm. Generally, if the child seat is occupied and the keychain fob is removed from proximity to the transmitter, the transmitter communicates this to the keychain fob receiver and the alarm is activated. Exemplary embodiments include an add-on kit including a base unit with a transceiver for use with existing car seats having a base and a detachable shell, an add-on kit without the base unit for use with existing unitary car seats, a car seat with the child sensor, transmitter, and/or base unit built into it, and an automatic checklist feature for diaper bags, strollers, etc.
