Abstract: The improvement invention is a means to prevent successful Distributed Denial of Service attacks via a decentralized user Internet Protocol (IP) validation method. The invention is an improvement on a method and system for the validation that a unique computer user is in control of a computer that is capable of performing a non-trivial amount of calculations on command. By ensuring a user is in command of a computer that requests a service, and that the computer will perform a non-trivial task on-demand, a cost is incurred by that client computer, and thus decreases the likelihood of large-scale successful DDoS attacks by swarms of botnets.

Abstract: An improvement invention for a method and system for web users to circumvent web censorship and do so anonymously is presented. The web user is routed through a proxy network that automatically removes code and commands that could be employed to identify the web user, or the Internet address (IP) of the web user. The content of the traffic is also examined for potential advertisement revenue. The improvement is a step that automatically removes code or text that could, upon execution, be employed to identify the web user.

Abstract: A method and system for consumers to pay vendors or service providers is presented. A demand draft is created and sent to a vendor or service provider from a trusted third party on behalf of a consumer. The verification of consumer funds available to cover the demand draft is not necessary because the demand draft is from a trusted third party to a vendor or service provider. The method employs real-time geolocation information available within mobile devices and time-synchronized one time passwords to increase the security of the process.

Abstract: The method and system of this invention is an improvement invention on a system that detects when an operator of a vehicle falls asleep, through the use of a digital video camera. The system is automatically disabled and no alarm sounds if the vehicle is not in motion.
