    Abstract: In order to simplify the cleaning and disinfection of water wells, perforated casings are installed outside and adjacent to a water well casing and screen. This installation provides cleaning and disinfection capability of the well without removing the well's pump. The number of adjacent perforated casings can range from one for a small diameter well to three or more for lager diameter wells. The perforated casings define alternating blank sections and perforated sections.
