  • Patent number: 9181460
Abstract: A two-part, solvent-free laminating adhesive including a Part A that is a liquid mixture of a first polyol and a hydroxyl functional acrylic polymer having a molecular weight of no greater than 15,000 g/mole, and a Part B that is an isocyanate-terminated polyurethane prepolymer. The adhesive is especially suited for making flexible laminates for use in food packaging. When adhered two polymeric film materials and in cured form, the adhesive provides substantially no contribution to the oxygen barrier properties of the laminate.

  • Patent number: 8329292
Abstract: A method of using an absorbent article where the method includes adhering at least a portion of an absorbent article to a surface of a window through a pressure sensitive adhesive composition. The absorbent article includes an exterior surface, an acquisition layer, superabsorbent polymer, a first layer that has an exterior surface and an interior surface, and a pressure sensitive attachment adhesive composition, the superabsorbent polymer being disposed between the acquisition layer and the interior surface of the first layer, and the pressure sensitive attachment adhesive composition being disposed on the exterior surface of the absorbent article.

  • Patent number: 8061292
Abstract: A wetness indicating composition is disclosed that changes color in response to a change in pH. The composition comprises a water-insoluble, thermoplastic polymer composition, a superabsorbent polymer, a wetness indicator, and surfactant. The wetness indicating composition is useful in disposable absorbent articles, e.g., disposable diapers, feminine napkins, medical dressings and beddings for humans and animals.
