Abstract: Diagnostic communication systems, diagnostic data collection kits, and methods for generating and conveying oral condition data sets and treatment plans. A method of developing a treatment plan to treat an oral condition of a patient includes receiving an oral condition data set, analyzing the oral condition data set, and generating the treatment plan based on the analysis of the oral condition data set. The oral condition data set is at least partially generated by a patient representative utilizing a data collection kit. A data collection kit for generating an oral condition data set includes at least one diagnostic instrument, instructions describing a method of generating at least a portion of the oral condition data set, and/or packaging that contains the at least one diagnostic instrument. The instructions include instructions for delivering the oral condition data set to a service provider and/or a centralized service.
