Abstract: A gardening stool that can also be used on hard surfaces. The stool includes a seat, an upright column and a rounded base. The rounded base allows the stool to be rocked. Spheres are provided along the outer periphery of the base which prevent the stool from being rocked on a hard surface, thus providing stability but still allow the stool to be rocked in the soft soil of a garden. A tool holder can be mounted on the column to hold gardening tools. A series of holes may be provided in the column to support the tool holder by means of pins.
