    Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables display screen rotation without compromising passenger impact safety. In a particular example, an apparatus includes a display system including a display screen on a front side of the display system and a mounting interface on a rear side of the display system. The apparatus also includes a bracket to which the mounting interface attaches and a flexible mechanical power transmitter connecting a power output of a motor to a power input at the mounting interface. The flexible mechanical power transmitter rotates the display system around a screen-rotation axis. The motor includes the power output, and the power output rotates around a motor-rotation axis different from the screen-rotation axis.

    Abstract: Disclosed embodiments for trays in a vehicle including trays for passenger and driver sides of an automobile. A tray consistent with disclosed embodiments may be stored in a console and extend from the console to be used by a driver when parked for activities such as working on a laptop, eating, or the like. A tray consistent with disclosed embodiments may be stored in a dash and extend from the dash to be used by a passenger. An automobile may be configured to remain in parked if a tray is in an extended position. A tray may be configured to be locked when a vehicle is in a drive or mobile state.

    Abstract: A hush panel for integration into an automobile includes a first section having a first channel-forming portion and a second section having a second channel-forming portion. The first and second sections are attached together via a hinge section. The first and second sections pivotable relative to each other about the hinge section such that the first section mates to the second section with the first channel-forming portion and the second channel-forming portion aligning to form a duct in the hush panel. A method for forming the hush panel is also disclosed.
