  • Patent number: 10709422
Abstract: The present embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for controlling visualization of ultrasound image data. The systems can be configured to display a live ultrasound image feed on a touchscreen and receive input via the touchscreen to adjust imaging parameters of the live ultrasound image feed, with the input having continuous contact with the touchscreen. During the continuous contact with the touchscreen, a transitional view of the live ultrasound image feed can be displayed, with the transitional view being continuously updated to indicate previews of the live ultrasound image feed with the imaging parameters adjusted. The continuous updating can be performed in accordance with characteristics of the contact with the touchscreen and while the transitional view continues the display of the live ultrasound image feed.

  • Patent number: 10646205
Abstract: The present embodiments relate generally to methods for providing viewing access to an ultrasound image feed generated at an ultrasound imaging machine. A multi-use display device may form a first link-layer connection with the ultrasound image machine for transmitting commands that control imaging parameters of the ultrasound image feed. The multi-use display device may then: determine link-layer connection parameters that allow the ultrasound imaging machine to form a second link-layer connection with a receiving device (the receiving device having no link-layer connection with the ultrasound imaging machine), and provide the connection parameters to the receiving device. The ultrasound imaging machine forms a second link-layer connection with the receiving device, based the connection parameters. The second link-layer connection is then used for receiving, at the receiving device, the ultrasound image feed controlled by the multi-use display device.

  • Publication number: 20200085408
Abstract: An application running in a mobile device displays an ultrasound image obtained by a connected ultrasound scanner. A button is displayed on the device, which, when activated, automatically connects the device to a remote reviewer in a virtual videoconferencing room, without the operator of the scanner needing to input user credentials. Upon activating the button, or otherwise triggering the request for a review, pre-stored login credentials are automatically retrieved and used for connecting the operator to the room. The remote reviewer may be connected to the room upon accepting the request for review, without having to input user credentials, which are pre-stored and automatically retrieved.

  • Patent number: 10588607
Abstract: The present embodiments relate generally to managing power in an ultrasound imaging machine. The ultrasound imaging machine may generate ultrasound images while operating in a first imaging mode that consumes power at a first level. The ultrasound imaging machine may determine whether the generated ultrasound images are for viewing. If generated ultrasound images are not for viewing, the ultrasound imaging machine may change to a second imaging mode that consumes power at a second level less than the first level. If ultrasound images generated while operating in the second imaging mode are not for viewing, the ultrasound imaging machine may change to a freeze mode that consumes power at a third level less than the second level.

  • Patent number: 10567528
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for exchanging a history of user activity information are provided. A history of user activity of a target user conducted through a device is collected and stored at a server over a network. A key corresponding to the history of user activity is generated and transmitted to the device. The key is received from a different device. The history of user activity is retrieved based on the received key and transmitted to the different device.

  • Publication number: 20190378623
Abstract: The present embodiments relate generally to a system for improved storage of electronic health information, the system including: a computing device for receiving the electronic health information; and a server for communicating with the computing device, the server being accessible by the computing device at a first network location. The server can be configured to: receive a request from the computing device for a second network location, the second network location usable for storing the electronic health information, and the second network location being different from the first network location; determine the second network location; and provide the second network location to the computing device; and the computing device stores the electronic health information at the second network location.

  • Patent number: 10178158
Abstract: Technology is described for trending media content in an online membership group. A frequency rate and velocity rate for media file interest may be determined for a media file added to one or more virtual collections in the online membership group during a predetermined period of time. Trending media files are identified according to the according to the frequency rate and the velocity rate determined for each media file added to the one or more virtual collections. Ranking information relating to the trending media files may be displayed on a graphical user interface (GUI) for the one or more virtual collections in the online membership group.

  • Publication number: 20180220995
Abstract: The present embodiments relate generally to ultrasound imaging systems and methods that provide a user interface on the touchscreen display. The user interface includes an ultrasound image feed and a single control for modifying imaging depth of the ultrasound image feed. When input via the single control is received to modify the imaging depth, the system: adjusts frequency of ultrasound signals being used to acquire the ultrasound image feed; adjusts a beamformer parameter of the ultrasound signals being used to acquire the ultrasound image feed; receives first image data of the ultrasound image feed based on the adjusted frequency and the adjusted beamformer parameter; based on the first image data, adjusts Time Gain Compensation (TGC) of the ultrasound image feed; and receives second image data of the ultrasound image feed based on the adjusted frequency, beamformer parameter and TGC. Display of the second image data on the touchscreen display is then optimized without receipt of additional user input.
