Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for deriving an objective opinion profile. A method includes receiving a request from an entity, such as a buyer or a seller, and retrieving data regarding that entity from trusted sources. The data regarding the entity from the trusted sources may include publicly available data, such as credit reports, financial reports, market data aggregators, electronic marketplaces, court filings, police records, and governmental records. The objective opinion profile can be built from the data retrieved from the trusted sources and displayed to the requesting entity.
