  • Publication number: 20240390130
Abstract: A vascular graft includes an implantable tubular body defining a lumen and at least one support frame engaged to the tubular body for modifying a shape of a cross-section of at least a portion of the lumen. The tubular body and at least one support frame are configured to receive pulsatile blood flow so that as pressure of blood flowing through the lumen increases, a cross-sectional area of the portion of the lumen increases while a perimeter of the portion of the lumen remains substantially unchanged in order to dampen the pulsatile blood flow. A method of forming a vascular graft including a step of attaching at least one support frame to a tubular body defining a lumen that modifies a shape of a cross-section of at least a portion of the lumen of the tubular body is also disclosed herein.

  • Publication number: 20230399596
Abstract: A consumer additive for lower grade vodka to reduce harshness and bite, to replicate smoothness and flavor of top shelf vodka. The additive raises pH and adds trace minerals and sweetener to smooth out the flavor without adding a separate flavoring like fruit juice.

  • Patent number: 11762583
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computing system for receiving, at a storage system, a command from a host. A command type of the command may be determined. It may be determined if a threshold associated with the command type has been met. In response to determining that the threshold associated with the command type has been met, a command queue full response may be sent, from the storage system, to the host.

  • Patent number: 10194888
Abstract: An entire volume is scanned. A sub-volume is separately scanned with different settings for beamforming parameters, allowing greater image quality for the sub-volume while providing context from the volume. The anatomy of interest is periodically detected, and the sub-volume shifted in position to cover the anatomy of interest, allowing for relatively continuous volume imaging with enhanced quality imaging of the sub-volume. Interleaving by volume and sub-volume slices may allow for optimization of relative frame rate and image quality. Different combinations between volume and sub-volume data for anatomy detection and display may provide for desired imaging while allowing the regular detection of the anatomy.

  • Patent number: 7565805
Abstract: Methods and systems for operating a gas turbine engine system include an electrical generator configured to provide electrical energy to a load, a gas turbine engine including at least one combustor that includes a plurality of fuel injection points configured to inject a fuel into the combustor at a plurality of different locations wherein the combustor configured to combust the fuel and the gas turbine engine is rotatably coupled to the generator through a shaft. The gas turbine engine system includes a control system including a plurality of sensors positioned about the gas turbine engine system and configured to measure at least one parameter associated with the sensor, a processor programmed to receive a signal indicative of a heating value of the fuel, and automatically control a fuel split between the fuel injection points on the combustor using the determined heating value.

  • Publication number: 20070083099
Abstract: A path in a three dimensional structure is identified with a processor. The structure for determining the path may be identified by selection of a location on a one or two-dimensional image. The processor then extrapolates the structure of interest from the location and generates the path. Navigating along a path through a three dimensional space limits complication. For example, a simple input provides for navigation forward, backward or remaining stationary along the path. Navigation may be used to localize calculations, to define Doppler related scanning regions and orientations, or to determine the representation of the scanned volume data.

  • Publication number: 20050131082
Abstract: An integrated process for lowering the pour point of Fischer-Tropsch derived wax which comprises (a) collecting separately from a Fischer-Tropsch unit a Fischer-Tropsch wax and a Fischer-Tropsch condensate; (b) pyrolyzing the Fischer-Tropsch wax in a thermal cracking zone under thermal cracking conditions pre-selected to achieve a cracking conversion of the paraffins molecules present in the Fischer-Tropsch wax of at least 10 percent; (c) recovering from the thermal cracking zone a low pour point Fischer-Tropsch derived wax and a Fischer-Tropsch derived overhead product; and (d) mixing at least a portion of the Fischer-Tropsch derived overhead product recovered in step (c) and at least a portion of the Fischer-Tropsch condensate collected in step (a) with at least a portion of the low pour point Fischer-Tropsch derived wax in the proper proportion to produce a Fischer-Tropsch derived waxy product having a pour point equal to or below about 40 degrees C.
