Publication number: 20230112189Abstract: Described herein are examples of methods that include receiving, at a communications relay, a first electronic communication from a third party device. The methods also include determining a sender identity associated with the first electronic communication. The methods include storing, on an electronic data storage unit associated with the sender identity, a communication digest of the first electronic communication associated with the sender identify; generating, at the communication relay, a unified network interface for accessing a set of electronic communications directed to the customer. The method includes providing, to the customer via a network, access to the unified network interface.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 22, 2022Publication date: April 13, 2023Inventors: Daniel Bernier, Stephen Hewitt, Shaun Davidson, Craig Bartholomaus

Patent number: 10399131Abstract: A compound roll includes a sintered inner core of a first cemented carbide and at least one sintered outer sleeve of a second cemented carbide disposed around the inner core. The outer sleeve and inner core each have a joining surface, wherein when the inner core and outer sleeve are assembled each joining surface contact to form a bonding interface therebetween. When the assembled, sintered inner core and outer sleeve are heated to a predetermined temperature the sintered inner core and outer sleeve are fused together at the bonding interface to form the unitary compound roll. To reduce the overall cost of the compound roll, a lower cost cemented carbide, or a cemented carbide with a lower density can be used for the inner core and fused to an outer sleeve of a virgin cemented carbide, thereby reducing the powder cost and/or reducing the overall mass of the compound roll.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2014Date of Patent: September 3, 2019Assignee: HYPERION MATERIALS & TECHNOLOGIES (SWEDEN) ABInventor: Stephen Hewitt

Publication number: 20190184643Abstract: A blank is manufactured by additive layer manufacturing. The blank is made up of a part, a tool, and a connection member connecting the tool to the part, which are all integrally formed during the build from the same build material. The connection member can be cut or broken to disconnect the tool from the part which enables the tool to be used to mechanically remove surface build material from the surface of the part.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 13, 2018Publication date: June 20, 2019Inventors: Stephan SCHNEIDER, Robert BUCKLEY, Andrew NIXON, Stephen HEWITT
