The ion-selective electrode with an extended gate field effect transistor (EGFET) comprises a metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) installed on a semiconductor substrate, a sensing unit comprising a substrate, an oxide layer on the substrate, an ammonium ion selective film fixed on the oxide layer, and a conductive line connecting the MOSFET and the sensing unit.
