  • Patent number: 11926032
Abstract: A tool is provided. The tool includes a pole defining an axis and a handle. The handle includes a stationary and rotational portion, the stationary and rotational portions forming a unitary assembly with the stationary and rotational portions being adjacent one another along the axis. The stationary portion is secured to the pole in a manner that prevents it from rotating with respect to the pole and in a manner prevents the stationary portion from translational movement with respect to the pole along the axis. The rotational portion is secured to the stationary portion that allows the rotational portion to freely rotate with respect to the pole about the axis and with respect to the stationary portion and in a manner that prevents the rotational portion from translational movement with respect to the pole and the stationary portion along the axis.

  • Patent number: 11813570
Abstract: Portable water conditioning systems include a water conditioner having a plurality of conditioning stages including, in a direction of flow of the water through the water conditioner, a reverse osmosis stage having a reverse osmosis membrane, and a deionizing stage. A first sensor is configured to detect a first condition of the water before the reverse osmosis stage and a second sensor configured to detect a second condition of the water after the reverse osmosis stage. The conditions each include (i) a level of total dissolved solids of the water and (ii) temperature of the water. A controller is in communication with the sensors and configured to determine of a percent of dissolved solids that are rejected by the reverse osmosis membrane based on the conditions when backpressure on the reverse osmosis stage is at a known state.

  • Publication number: 20220307250
Abstract: Plungers and cleaning implement assemblies are described. The plungers include a handle having a tapering portion and a grip and a plunger member attached to the handle opposite the grip. The plunger member has a handle engagement portion configured to securely engage with the handle, at least one compression rib, a contact rib having an increased wall thickness section, wherein the increased wall thickness section of the contact rib is greater than a wall thickness of the at least one compression rib, and a plunger rim defining an opening to an internal cavity defined by the plunger member. The plunger member has a non-circular geometric shape in profile taken in a plane normal to an axis through the handle.

  • Patent number: 11369923
Abstract: A portable water conditioning system is provided that includes a water conditioner, a first sensor, a second sensor, and a controller. The water conditioner has a plurality of conditioning stages that condition water. The plurality of conditioning stages include, in a direction of flow of the water through the water conditioner, a reverse osmosis stage and a deionizing stage. The first sensor detects a first condition of the water before the reverse osmosis stage. The second sensor detects a second condition of the water after the reverse osmosis stage. The controller is in communication with the first and second sensors and determines a health status of the reverse osmosis stage based the first and second conditions. The first and second conditions each include a level of total dissolved solids of the water.

  • Publication number: 20220001529
Abstract: Methods of moving and operating a tool are provided. The methods include positioning an upper hand on an upper handle of a pole so that a first portion of the upper hand grasps a stationary portion of the upper handle and a second portion of the upper hand grasps a rotational portion of the upper handle, positioning a lower hand on a lower handle of the pole so that a first portion of the lower hand grasps a stationary portion of the lower handle and a second portion of the lower hand grasps a rotational portion of the lower handle, and switching between grasping the stationary and/or rotational portions of the upper and/or lower handles by adjusting which of the first and second portions of the upper and/or lower hands applies pressure to the upper and/or lower handles, respectively.
