  • Patent number: 11944167
Abstract: A wristband can comfortably secure an electronic device, such as a wristwatch or fitness/health tracking device, to a wrist of a user. The wristband can include a number of magnets that allow the wristband to be magnetically coupled to itself when folded over or when separate band portions are overlapping. The magnets can include a polymer mixed with a magnetic material to provide magnetic properties and flexibility. The magnets can be joined together by a continuous support structure that extends through opposing pairs of the magnets. The support structure can provide substantial and ability as well as tensile strength. The magnets and the support structure can be surrounded by a flexible cover to protect the components within.

  • Publication number: 20230301473
Abstract: A toilet venting system that is designed to remove malodorous air from one or more toilets. The toilet venting system may be a kit that a user may self-install to a toilet, which may be a conventional toilet, or may be integrated into a new toilet. The toilet venting system and kit may have components for removing malodorous air from a single toilet or multiple toilets. The toilet venting system and kit may also be configured to remove odors to sanitary drain pipes or vent to an outside of a building.

  • Patent number: 11617403
Abstract: A face shield manufacturing method includes, among other things, positioning a bumper layer between a headband layer and a shield layer. The method further includes securing the bumper layer, the shield layer, and headband layer to provide a multilayered structure, and cutting a face shield assembly from the multilayered structure. A face shield assembly includes, among other things, a bumper configured to be placed against a front of a head of a user, a shield secured to the bumper, a headband configured to be placed against a rear of the head of the user, and fasteners. Each of the fasteners binds an end portion of the headband to at least the bumper. The headband is folded over each fastener when the bumper is placed against the front of the head of the user and the headband is placed against a back of the head of the user.

  • Publication number: 20070205623
Abstract: A pedestal console for a motor vehicle includes a housing stationarily mounted within the vehicle beneath and transverse to a bench seat of the vehicle. The console includes an air duct defined by structural features extending the length of the console. This allows air from a forward ventilation system to be provided, through the air duct, to an aft portion of the vehicle. The structural features extend between the bottom surface and the top surface of the console and are dimensioned to allow the console to accept passenger floor loads. To reduce cost and parts count, the entire console is formed of a one piece construction. Finally, an interior opening may be provided to route wiring of the vehicle's electrical system to the aft portion of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20050186094
Abstract: A power steering pump comprises a housing that includes a bore, a fluid discharge port that supplies pumped fluid into the bore, and a fluid bypass port for recycling excess fluid to the pumping elements. A flow control valve is slideably received in the bore and regulate the size of the inlet to the fluid bypass port. The pump includes a solenoid assembly that has a plunger that is operatively connected to the flow control valve. By adjusting the magnitude of the current to the electromagnetic coil of the solenoid assembly, the position of the flow control valve is varied to increase or decrease fluid flow to the fluid bypass port and thereby regulate the output from the pump.
