Abstract: An electronic system for a drug delivery device includes a user interface member configured for manipulation by a user to perform a dose operation. An electronic control unit is configured to control operation of the electronic system. The electronic system has a first state and a second state that has an increased electrical power consumption as compared to the first state. An electrical signaling unit is configured to provide an electrical signal indicative that the user interface member is being manipulated and to switch the electronic system from the first state into the second state in response to the electrical signal. The user interface member comprises a first portion that is movable relative to a second portion from a rest position to a signaling position. The signaling unit is configured to provide the electrical signal in response to the movement of the first portion relative to the second portion.

Abstract: An electronic system for a drug delivery device is provided. The electronic system comprises: at least one user interface member, which is arranged to be manipulated by a user of the drug delivery device, and an electrical user proximity detection unit. The user interface member has an exterior operation surface arranged and configured to be touched by a user of the drug delivery device during operation of the drug delivery device. The electrical user proximity detection unit is configured to generate a signal when the user is close to or touches the exterior operation surface.

Abstract: Methods comprising introducing a relative permeability modifier fluid into at least a portion of a subterranean formation to form a treated portion of the subterranean formation; and introducing a consolidating agent into the treated portion of the subterranean formation so as to transform at least a section of the treated portion of the subterranean formation into a consolidated region. In some embodiments, the subterranean formation may have been previously hydraulically fracture-stimulated.
