    Abstract: The present invention relates to rod plug caps for leaky tubes of a heat exchanger. The rod plug caps include a frustrum shaped tapered hollow plug having a top, a length, and a diameter. The diameter of the top being the widest of the plug. A plug nut is formed on the top of the plug. The plug nut and the plug are formed from one homogeneous piece of material.
