Publication number: 20240386703Abstract: A method for execution by a computing device includes obtaining a set of media element identigens for media elements of media to produce sets of media element identigens. The sets of media element identigens are possible interpretations of a media element. The method further includes generating a set of relationships between media elements. The relationships provide a list of one or more ways in which the media elements are related. The method further includes processing different permutations of the sets of media element identigens using the set of relationships to generate textual descriptions as a proxy for an entigen group. The entigen group represents a most likely interpretation of the media.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 26, 2024Publication date: November 21, 2024Applicant: entigenlogic LLCInventors: Frank John Williams, David Ralph Lazzara, Stephen Chen, Karl Olaf Knutson, Jessy Thomas, David Michael Corns, II, Andrew Chu, Gary W. Damper element with spring-suspended bearing member for vibration dampening system for turbine blade
Patent number: 12134972Abstract: A damper element for a vibration dampening system may be used in a body opening in a rotating blade in a turbine. The damper element includes a base member, and a spring-suspended bearing member having a disc spring fixedly coupled to the base member at a center of the disc spring, and a bearing member coupled to a first side of the disc spring at an outer portion thereof. The bearing member extends radially distal from the first side of the disc spring. With the disc spring in an elastically extended state under influence of a centrifugal force caused by rotation of the rotating blade at higher than a predefined rotational speed, the bearing member frictionally engages a first bearing surface to dampen vibration. The friction-based vibration dampening interface experiences a reduced impact of the centrifugal forces of the rotating blade by providing a counteracting force reduction using the spring.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2023Date of Patent: November 5, 2024Assignee: GE Infrastructure Technology LLCInventors: Zachary John Snider, Stephen Paul Wassynger -
Publication number: 20240364520Abstract: A mobile device performs authentication with blinded tokens and swaps its international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) value. For authentication with blinded tokens, the mobile device generates a blinded token and provides it to a server to encrypt. To redeem the token, the mobile device unblinds the encrypted blinded token and provides it to the server along with a public key. To complete authentication, the mobile device receives, from the server, a nonce encrypted with the public key and decrypts the nonce with a private key. For swapping its IMSI value, the mobile device retrieves two eSIM profiles with corresponding IMSI values and configures the first of the two profiles as active. In response to a trigger, the mobile device changes the active profile from the first to the second, swaps the first IMSI value with a new IMSI value, and changes the active profile back to the first profile.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 27, 2023Publication date: October 31, 2024Inventors: Stephen James Dowhy, Christopher William Stokes, David Seth Dunn, Nicholas John Espinoza, Clifford Marcus Owenby, John McKinstry Doyle
