Patent number: 12233646Abstract: The print head cover (83) of an electrostatic deflection inkjet printer is made of a material having an electrical surface resistivity of no more than 1012 ohms per square or an electrical volume resistivity of no more than 109 ohm metres and is electrically connected to an earth line (93, 97). This prevents build-up of electric charge on the cover (83). The resistance from the surface of the cover (83) to a place where a cover earth line (93) joins a signal earth line (97) or enters the umbilical (7) is at least 16000 times the resistance from that place to earth. This prevents an electrostatic discharge to the cover (83) disrupting the electronic circuits. The high resistance earth connection for the cover (83) avoids the need for an earthing wire braid in the umbilical (7). The cover (83) may be moulded from an antistatic or static dissipative material.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2020Date of Patent: February 25, 2025Assignee: Linx Printing Technologies LimitedInventor: Stephen John Cooke

Patent number: 12236263Abstract: In some aspects, finer grained parallelism is achieved by segmenting programmatic workloads into smaller discretized portions, where a first element can be indicative both of a configuration or program to be executed, and a first data set to be used in such execution, while a second element can be indicative of a second data element or group. The discretized portions can cause program execute on distributed processors. Approaches to selecting processors, and allocating local memory associated with those processors are disclosed. In one example, discretized portions that share a program have an anti-affinity to cause dispersion, for initial execution assignment. Flags, such as programmer and compiler generated flags can be used in determining such allocations. Workloads can be grouped according to compatibility of memory usage requirements.Type: GrantFiled: August 12, 2016Date of Patent: February 25, 2025Assignee: Imagination Technologies LimitedInventors: Stephen John Clohset, James Alexander McCombe, Luke Tilman Peterson

Publication number: 20250034630Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and compositions for analyzing enriched populations of cells or target chromosomes, for example cells in metaphase and methods and compositions for two-dimensional spatial arrangement of cells and chromosomes. Furthermore, methods are disclosed for the detection of structural variations and/or repair events in chromosomes by labeling of single-stranded chromatids with probes, which in illustrative embodiments are of different colors. The hybridization pattern of the labeled probes produces a spectral pattern that provides high-resolution detection of structural variations and/or repair events, which for example can facilitate distinction of benign structural variations from deleterious structural variations. Further, the spectral pattern provides information regarding complex structural variations where more than one rearrangement of chromosomal segments may have occurred.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 1, 2022Publication date: January 30, 2025Applicant: KromaTiD, Inc.Inventors: Erin Marie CROSS, Stephen William HUGHES, Lauren KINNER, Christopher John TOMPKINS
