  • Publication number: 20240425661
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to photo-polymerizable resins, methods of photo-polymerizing and foaming resins, and foamed polymeric materials. Some disclosed resins comprise: a first monomer; a second monomer; a photo-activated polymerization catalyst; and a thermally activated foaming agent. Some disclosed methods of preparing photo-polymerized and foamed materials comprise photo-polymerizing a resin with a thermally activated foaming agent to obtain a photo-polymerized polymer material; and heating the photo-polymerized polymer material at a heating temperature to obtain the photo-polymerized and foamed polymer material, wherein the thermally activated foaming agent has a foaming onset temperature, and the heating temperature is greater than or equal to the foaming onset temperature. Also disclosed are photo-polymerized and foamed materials. Further disclosed are polymeric structures having a foam.

  • Publication number: 20240181701
Abstract: A system for producing a three-dimensional object from a fluid medium includes image processing units. The fluid medium is configured to solidify when subjected to a prescribed light stimulation. Each image processing unit includes at least one light emitting source configured to emit light, and at least one mirror system configured to reflect the light emitted by the light emitting source. The mirror system includes a manipulating system for adjusting the direction of the emitted light, a control system for controlling the manipulating system, and at least one optical element configured to manipulate the emitted light and to project the emitted light onto an area of a surface of the fluid medium to form an image on the surface. The image processing units are configured to form corresponding images on the surface, and are configured to be movable at least in a lateral direction relative to the surface.

Abstract: A system for producing a three-dimensional object from a fluid medium includes image processing units. The fluid medium is configured to solidify when subjected to a prescribed light stimulation. Each image processing unit includes at least one light emitting source configured to emit light, and at least one minor system configured to reflect the light emitted by the light emitting source. The minor system includes a manipulating system for adjusting the direction of the emitted light, a control system for controlling the manipulating system, and at least one optical element configured to manipulate the emitted light and to project the emitted light onto an area of a surface of the fluid medium to form an image on the surface. The image processing units are configured to form corresponding images on the surface, and are configured to be movable at least in a lateral direction relative to the surface.

  • Publication number: 20210004751
Abstract: Disclosed is a process for electronically monitoring officer context change and accumulating corresponding form completion times and providing a corresponding indication. A first context status change associated with an officer changing status is received. One or more corresponding particular information forms are identified via access to an electronically stored status to form mapping. A particular time required by the officer to complete the one or more particular information forms is determined via access to an electronically stored time completion indication associated with each of the one or more particular information forms. A total forms completion accumulation value is determined. The total form completion accumulation value particularly associated with the officer is provided to the officer and/or a dispatcher.

  • Publication number: 20070008523
Abstract: A prescription verification system includes a database that contains a plurality of spectral signatures corresponding to identified pharmaceuticals. A multimodal multiplex sampling (MMS) spectrometer obtains a spectra of a pharmaceutical to be identified and verified. The pharmaceutical can be inside or out of a vial. The prescription verification system includes algorithms for matching spectra of pharmaceuticals to be verified obtaining using the MMS spectrometer to spectral signatures contained in the database corresponding to identified pharmaceuticals. The prescription verification system further includes algorithms for identifying such pharmaceuticals to be verified.

  • Patent number: 5207050
Abstract: Process and apparatus for assembly of an ecologically compact disc or media package where a trayed rotating table advances to process a packaging sleeve and place a compact disc or media package on a processed packaging sleeve. A packaging sleeve is placed in a tray on one rotating table and subsequently a pamphlet is glued to the packaging sleeve. A one-piece compact disc or media base on another rotating table is placed on the awaiting packaging sleeve. An end cap can then be separated from the base. The packaging sleeve is secured by glue to the compact disc or media base and end cap. The end cap is either cut away or manually separated from the media base.
