  • Publication number: 20240108147
Abstract: Convertible furniture includes a first arm, a first seat, and a base. The first seat is adjacent the first arm and includes a head panel, a mid-panel, and a foot panel. The first seat has a seat configuration in which the head panel is in a vertical orientation. The first seat has a bed configuration in which the head panel, the mid-panel, and the foot panel are each in a horizontal orientation with a top surface of each cooperating to form a flat surface. The base has a side rail that is secured to the first arm and a center support parallel to and spaced apart from the first arm. The head panel of the first seat at least partially supported by the side rail and the center support in the deployed position thereof when the first seat is in the bed configuration.

  • Publication number: 20060070955
Abstract: A simulated moving bed apparatus and methods are described for continuously separating a target molecule from a liquid mixture, using a simulated moving bed system. The simulated moving bed system includes a plurality of filter cartridge modules in serial fluid communication. Each filter cartridge module includes a volume of stationary phase particulates adjacent a porous substrate layer. Each filter cartridge module also includes recirculation piping in fluid connection with a filter cartridge outlet and a filter cartridge inlet.

  • Patent number: 5508680
Abstract: A solderless solenoid assembly, preferably for use in an electrical signaling device. The solenoid assembly is formed by wrapping conductive wire around a bobbin, forming a solenoid coil. A plurality of terminal displacement slots are attached to the bobbin. The lead wires of the coil are terminated in the bobbin terminal displacement slots. Electrical connectors are placed in each of the terminal displacement slots. The entire solenoid assembly snaps into a solenoid coil support bracket. The solenoid coil support bracket is then secured to a base which is connected to an electrical signaling device.
