  • Patent number: 10354857
Abstract: An envelope of an ultraviolet (UV) bulb comprises a tube of UV transmissive material configured to contain a UV emissive material and a plasma resistant coating on an inner surface of the tube wherein the coating has been deposited by atomic layer deposition (ALD) and is the only material attached to the inner surface of the tube. The tube can be an endless tube having a circular shape and the coating can be an ALD aluminum oxide coating. The UV transmissive material can comprise quartz or fused silica and the tube can have a wall thickness of about 1 to about 2 mm. The coating can have a thickness of no greater than about 200 nm such as about 120 nm to 160 nm. The circular tube can be formed into a torus shape which can have an outer diameter of about 200 mm and the tube itself can have an outer diameter of about 30 mm. The ALD aluminum oxide coating can be a pinhole free conformal coating.

  • Patent number: 10306323
Abstract: In aspects of fast television channel change initiated from a second screen device, a mobile device implemented as the second screen device can receive a navigation input in a viewport displayed on an integrated display of the mobile device. Video selection options for video content are displayed in the viewport on the integrated display of the mobile device responsive to the navigation input. A content display application on the mobile device can determine video identifiers of the video content for each of the video selection options displayed in the viewport, where each video identifier uniquely identifies a respective video content. The mobile device can then communicate the video identifiers to a first screen device, such as a television display device, that initiates a request to a video content server for initial video data corresponding to each of the video content based on the video identifiers received from the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 10291952
Abstract: In aspects of multiple-device media swap, a mobile device in a video content viewing system displays first video content on an integrated display of the device, and receives second video content without displaying the second video content. The mobile device continues to receive the second video content, without displaying the second video content, while the first video content is received and presented. The mobile device can initiate an instruction to swap from displaying the first video content to displaying the second video content on the integrated display of the mobile device. The instruction also initiates another device of the video content viewing system that is receiving both the first and second video content to swap from displaying the second video content to displaying the first video content.

  • Patent number: 10240236
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for cleaning a semiconductor processing chamber is provided. The semiconductor processing chamber may include a UV radiation source, a substrate holder, and a UV transmissive window. The UV transmissive window may include one or multiple panes. One or more panes of the UV transmissive window may be non-reactive with fluorine containing chemistries. In multi-pane windows a purge gas flow path may be formed in the gap between windows. A purge gas may be flowed through the purge gas flow path to prevent process gases used in the chamber interior from reaching one or more panes of the UV transmissive window.

  • Publication number: 20180262793
Abstract: In aspects of reverse casting from a first screen device to a second screen device, a mobile device implemented as the second screen device can determine that it is proximate in location to the first screen device, such as a television device, based on both the mobile device and the television device being connected to a local network. The mobile device and the television device can be automatically associated to enable data being synchronized between the two devices based on determining that the devices are proximate in location. The television device displays video content prior to the two devices being associated. The mobile device can then receive contextual information that corresponds to the video content being displayed on the television device. The contextual information can be determined by an automated analysis of the video content at a video content service as the video content is distributed to the television device.

  • Publication number: 20180167681
Abstract: This document describes techniques using, and devices embodying, integral program content distribution. These techniques and devices enable a request for program content to be received from an end-user device. In response to the request, an integral version of the requested program content is determined using an indication of a program content transition that corresponds to an apparent broadcast time of the requested program content. The program content can be transmitted to the end-user device as part of a cloud-based digital video recorder (DVR) system.

  • Publication number: 20180131844
Abstract: A system includes at least two capture devices, each switchable from a respective idle mode to a respective recording mode upon receipt of a trigger signal from a trigger via a network. A controller saves data packets generated by the capture devices during the respective idle modes to a short-term memory, and saves data packets generated during the respective recording modes to a long-term memory such that the data packets form respective saved data streams. The synchronizer sends a sync signal to the capture devices via the network. The compensator determines respective delay periods between sending of the sync signal by the synchronizer and receipt of the sync signal by each of the capture devices, and transfers from the short-term memory to the long-term memory any data packets generated during the respective delay period.

  • Publication number: 20180039923
Abstract: A system for generating operational metrics data for a medical care facility includes a first camera and an operational metrics device. The first camera generates digital images of a first detection area. The operational metrics device includes an optical code detector, a medical object detector, and an operational metrics generator. The optical code detector generates optical code detection data indicative of the presence or absence of optical codes within each of the digital images. Each of the optical codes is disposed on a respective medical object. The medical object detector generates medical object detection data indicative the presence or absence of each medical object within the first detection area. For each medical object, the operational metrics generator generates operational metrics data based at least partially on a determined amount of time that each medical object was present within the first detection area.

  • Patent number: 9723118
Abstract: A method of initiating a communication using speech recognition on a mobile wireless communication device. Voice input is parsed using speech recognition to identify and extract a name and a communication type to be initiated from a plurality of potential communication types. A local address book is searched to identify all contact records having both a contact name including the name extracted from the voice input and a populated address field associated with the communication type extracted from the voice input. When only one contact record matches the extracted information, a communication is automatically initiated to the contact address from the populated address field of the contact record using an application associated with the communication type. When more than one contact record in the local address book matches the extracted information, a list of all of the matching contacts is output from which a communication can be initiated.
