Abstract: A processing system receives a user-generated media recording, and metadata associated with the user-generated feedback, from a first device. The user-generated media recording is a recording of the public end-user captured during a live media broadcast using a public-user interface on the first device. The metadata includes information linking the user-generated media recording to the live media broadcast. The system stores the user-generated media recording and the first metadata in one or more storage devices, and transmits a version of the user-generated media recording and at least a portion of the first metadata to a private-user interface on a second device. The private-user interface is configured to receive input from a private end-user selecting the version of the user-generated media recording for broadcast during the same live media broadcast during which the user-generated media recording was created.

Abstract: A memory device comprising a memory array including memory cells to store memory data, error correcting code (ECC) circuitry configured to generate ECC data and use the ECC data to detect errors in the memory data, and an ECC circuitry checker. The ECC circuitry checker is configured to substitute the ECC data with check ECC data, compare an output of the ECC circuitry to an expected output when the substituted check ECC data is applied to the ECC circuitry, and generate an alert when the comparing indicates an error in the ECC circuitry.

The computing device tracks and receives real-time actual transaction activity information detailing each transaction performed over a past time period for each user from a plurality of users associated with an entity. Then, a set of proxy components are determined to represent the transaction activity information based on types of transactions in the transaction activity information. The sentiment index is generated having a value representing market sentiment for confidence at a current time in performing transactions based on a weighted sum and/or difference of the set of proxy components and display the value of the sentiment index on an interactive display of the user interface for subsequent use in performing further transactions.

When in its closed position the valve restricts the flow of inert gas into the container. When in its open position the valve permits the flow of inert gas into the container such that the inert gas displaces at least a portion of the gas in the container. The timer causes the valve to cycle between its open and closed positions at predetermined time intervals. The flow of inert gas can also be controlled through the use of a gas sensor in communication with the interior of the container.

The method also includes computing a number of co-occurrence events involving the first content item and a second content item from the plurality of occurrence results. Each co-occurrence event includes an indicator that both first content item and second content item were retrieved together in an occurrence result. The method further includes computing a relationship value between first content item and second content item using at least the number of co-occurrence events.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that allows secure deployment delegation and management of applications in a distributed-computing infrastructure. During operation, the system assigns a deployment-role to a user, which enables the user to deploy an application in the distributed-computing infrastructure. Moreover, by assigning the deployment-role to the user, the system also delegates the privilege to assign a run-time-role to the application. Note that the set of run-time roles a user is allowed to assign (or grant) can depend on the deployment role that has been assigned to the user. Furthermore, assigning the run-time-role to the application grants permission to the application to access a resource in the shared infrastructure, which allows the application to operate properly. Furthermore, note that by delegating to users the privilege of assigning roles to applications simplifies the secure deployment and management of applications in the distributed-computing infrastructure.

Abstract: A ride-on toy resembling a vehicle, that has a dashboard and a seat compartment which contain a plurality of buttons. The rear portion of the toy may contain a seat back which is removably attached thereto and which is sufficiently high to allow young children to use it as a support to stand and push the ride-on toy.
