Abstract: A tandem photovoltaic (PV) may include III-V semiconductors, silicon, a cathode electrode, an anode electrode, and a gold-to-gold metal bridge electrode. The semiconductors include p-typed and n-typed regions. To form a tandem PV structure, bottom and top PV cells can be independently fabricated. The bottom and the top PV cells are electrically connected by the gold-to-gold metal bridge interconnection, which is positioned between the bottom and the top PV cells. The metal bridge may be formed by cold-welding compression technique. This structure is compatible to the development of tandem PVs as well as thermophotovoltaic (TPV) cells.

Abstract: A handle for a product vending system includes a housing configured to be secured to a door of a product storage cabinet having a lock. The handle includes a display arranged on the housing, that is configured to show product information. A payment processing unit is arranged on the housing and is configured to detect or receive a payment. A control unit is configured to communicate with the lock of the product storage cabinet, such that when the payment is detected by the payment processing unit, the control unit is configured to unlock the lock of the product storage cabinet so as to provide access to a product stored in the product storage cabinet.

Abstract: The invention concerns methods of using a ketamine dosage form in treating depression and, in particular, major depressive disorder and treatment-resistant depression, comprising administering to a patient in need thereof, a fast dissolving freeze-dried wafer solid dosage form with a matrix for rapid release and absorption of ketamine in the oral cavity of the said patient.

Abstract: The disclosure concerns a dispensing system, having at least one dispense location with at least one dispensing head configured to dispense a beverage through a bottom portion of a container. In one aspect, the dispensing head may dispense a plurality of different beverage ingredients which a user may select to dispense a custom beverage. In another aspect the dispensing system comprises a modular dispensing system having a plurality of dispense locations each connected through piping to a central, remote ingredient system.

Abstract: There is provided a fast dissolving solid dosage form adapted for the release of a biologically active material in the oral cavity wherein the dosage form comprises at least one biologically active material, and at least one matrix forming agent, wherein the dosage form substantially dissolves in the oral cavity. A method of producing the same and a kit comprising the same are also provided.
