Abstract: A computing device includes an appliance status table to store at least one of reliability and performance data for one or more network functions virtualization (NFV) appliances and one or more legacy network appliances. The computing device includes a load controller to configure an Internet Protocol (IP) filter rule to select a packet for which processing of the packet is to be migrated from a selected one of the one or more legacy network appliances to a selected one of the one or more NFV appliances, and to update the appliance status table with received at least one of reliability and performance data for the one or more legacy network appliances and the one or more NFV appliances. The computing device includes a packet distributor to receive the packet, to select one of the one or more NFV appliances based at least in part on the appliance status table, and to send the packet to the selected NFV appliance. Abstract: A conveyor including a plurality of individual conveyor units associated with a common conveyor frame and adapted for independent lateral and vertical position adjustment. The conveyor units form independent conveyors capable of conveying an object. The position of each conveying unit is adjustable along the conveyor frame in a direction substantially transverse to the conveying direction. The height of each conveying unit is also independently adjustable. Consequently, the conveying units may be arranged to form overall conveying surfaces of different configuration. The conveyor may also include a frame lift assembly capable of simultaneously and uniformly raising or lowering one end of all the conveyor units present.

Abstract: A pallet (2) includes a deck (4), a support structure (8a,b) for supporting the deck above the ground, and a plurality of retractable wheels (12a,b) that can be configured in a deployed condition in which they fully support the pallet or a retracted condition. A releasable locking mechanism (28) is provided for locking the retractable wheels in the deployed condition.
