Publication number: 20230033045Abstract: Some deck or patio areas constructed of pavers mounted on adjustable pedestal supports must remain snow and ice free on their top surfaces. The pedestal-mounted paver heating system is designed to allow easy installation of electric heating cable that is positioned against the bottom surface of pavers so that heat generated by the cable is efficiently transferred up into the pavers to raise their temperature enough to prevent the accumulation of snow and ice on their top surfaces.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2022Publication date: February 2, 2023Inventors: Stephen Logan, Sudhir Thorat, Craig Drake

Patent number: 11475049Abstract: A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes determining whether a level of resource utilization of an organization having a first index and a first cluster requires that the organization is assigned to a second cluster, if the level of resource utilization requires that the organization is assigned to the second cluster, creating a second index for the organization in the second cluster, adding a consul entry in a consul that points to the second index, and upon completion of a data migration operation, changing an entry of the cluster routing controller for the organization, from the first index to the second index. A connection is established using the consul entry.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2020Date of Patent: October 18, 2022Assignee: SALESFORCE, INC.Inventors: Robert Stephen Logan, Gabriel Such Tobias, Shan-Cheng Ho

Patent number: 8594822Abstract: Electronic supervision may be provided. First, a stock number may be sent to a database server. The stock number may correspond to an electrical cable. In response to sending the database server the stock number, specification information corresponding to the product may be received from a database stored on the database server. The specification information may be, for an electrical cable, a number of wires, a weight per thousand feet, and a diameter. Next, product production may be monitored to determine faults occurring during production. Monitoring the production may include displaying a data monitoring screen to production personnel. The data monitoring screen may provide data regarding the product and product comparison against a standard maintained within the database for the product. Fault data corresponding to the determined faults occurring during the production may be saved to the database.Type: GrantFiled: December 1, 2011Date of Patent: November 26, 2013Assignee: Southwire CompanyInventors: Jackie McGuinn, Tom Stephens, Steve Wilson, Stephen Logan, Mike Crumpler, Alon Stewart, Hugh Butler

Publication number: 20050252429Abstract: The retractable table has a single, centrally disposed, vertical lift column formed of a relatively large number of relatively short sections. The relatively short sections permit the table to retract into a relatively shallow receptacle, thus obviating need for a deep well to house the column when retracted. Column actuation may be achieved by various principles of operation, including hydraulic cylinders and helically threaded sections which are rotated to extend and retract the tabletop. The table has an anti-rotation feature to prevent rotation of the tabletop relative to the underlying receptacle in which it stores. The retractable table may be provided as a “drop-in” installation, with the installer needing only to cut the required opening in the deck or floor of the vehicle in which the table is being installed, run appropriate wiring, and secure the table and its mechanism and receptacle in place.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 17, 2004Publication date: November 17, 2005Inventors: Stephen Logan, Thomas Collins

Patent number: 5004190Abstract: A rail heating system is provided for heating railroad components such as railroad switch areas and electrified third rails. The heating system includes a side heater having a heating pad that has a flexible contact surface. A clip arrangement such as a spring steel clip is provided for securing the heating pads to the stock rail and pressing the contact surface into engagement with the rail. The contact surface of the heating pad is forced to conform to the shape of the contacted portion of the rail. Ground pan heaters may be used to keep areas of the switch that are not suitable for attachment by the side heaters, such as the switch rod, free from ice and snow.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 1987Date of Patent: April 2, 1991Assignee: Bylin Heating Systems, Inc.Inventors: Garry L. Montierth, Stephen A. Logan, Raymond J. Scott
