  • Patent number: 11772248
Abstract: An electrically isolated coupler includes a drive body, a driven body, and a torque transfer assembly. The drive body is made of first metallic material and has a drive end configured to interface with a fastening component. The drive body includes a first interface portion and the driven body includes a second interface portion. The driven body is made of a second metallic material and has a driven end configured to interface with a driving tool. The torque transfer assembly is disposed between the drive body and the driven body to electrically isolate the drive body and the driven body from each other and transfer torque between the drive body and the driven body. The torque transfer assembly includes non-conductive material configured to maintain separation between the drive body and the driven body of at least about 0.400?.

  • Patent number: 11772241
Abstract: An electrically isolated coupler includes a drive body, a driven body, an insulating member and an isolation coating. The drive body is made of first metallic material and has a drive end configured to interface with a fastening component. The drive body includes a first interface portion and the driven body includes a second interface portion. The driven body is made of a second metallic material and has a driven end configured to interface with a driving tool. The insulating member is molded to fit between the drive body and the driven body to electrically isolate the drive body and the driven body from each other. The isolation coating is disposed on a surface of the first interface portion or the second interface portion that contacts the insulating member and faces the second interface portion or the first interface portion, respectively. The isolation coating includes a material that adheres to metal and has a dielectric strength of greater than about 10 kV.

  • Patent number: 8082620
Abstract: A mop bucket includes a fluid reservoir portion and a wringing portion. The fluid reservoir portion can hold fluid. The wringing portion includes a first wringing member and a second wringing member, which is moveable toward the first wringing member to wring fluid from a mop. The wringing portion further includes a linkage configured to move the second wringing member in response to actuation of a wringer handle. The linkage includes a first link extending from and pivotable relative to the second wringing member and a second link connected to the first link and having an axis that is fixed at an angle relative to an axis of the wringer handle. The second wringing member can include an integrally formed shaft about which the second wringing member rotates. A first retaining surface of the first wringing member can engage the shaft to hold the shaft at a pivot axis.

  • Publication number: 20090241280
Abstract: A cleaning tool comprises a soft, flexible body. A resilient backbone is located inside of the flexible body. The backbone may be insert molded in the body. The backbone may be formed of a plurality of branches where the branches extend from a center core to the edge of the body. The backbone may be formed with an arched shape in its undeformed state such that the body has an arched shape in its undeformed state and a cleaning surface of the body has a concave shape such that pressure may be applied to the body opposite the cleaning surface to flatten out the body. The body may have a first straight edge and an opposite convex edge where the concave edge may terminate at a corner having an acute included angle. The backbone may be pivotably connected to a handle.

  • Patent number: 7571831
Abstract: A mop bucket system includes a liquid-retaining portion and an energy-dissipation device. The liquid-retaining portion is configured to retain liquid. It has a bottom wall portion, a first sidewall portion, a second sidewall portion facing the first sidewall portion, a third sidewall portion, and a fourth sidewall portion facing the third sidewall portion. The liquid-retaining portion permits retained liquid to move in a liquid-movement direction extending from the first sidewall portion toward the second sidewall portion within a higher-momentum region having a width that is approximately 70% of a distance between the third sidewall portion and the fourth sidewall portion. The energy-dissipation device is disposed within the liquid-retaining portion and extends into the higher-momentum region.
