  • Patent number: 8170820
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating one or more transfer functions for converting waveforms. The method comprises the steps of determining a system description, representative of a circuit, comprising a plurality of system components, each system component comprising at least one component characteristic, the system description further comprising at least one measurement node and at least one output node, each of the at least one measurement nodes representative of a waveform digitizing location in the circuit. One or more transfer functions are determined for converting a waveform from one or more of the at least one measurement nodes to a waveform at one or more of the at least one output nodes. The generated transfer functions are then stored in a computer readable medium.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: May 1, 2012
    Assignee: LeCroy Corporation
Inventors: Peter J. Pupalaikis, Lawrence W. Jacobs, Stephen M. Sekel

  • Patent number: 4694380
Abstract: A carrier tray for circuit board assemblies. A metal plate is provided (by spot molding) with non-conductive plastic rails. Fastening means are molded into the rails to accommodate variations of circuit board assemblies. Locating posts in combination with resilient locking fingers and circuit board edge receiving slots are formed in the rails to provide a fastening system that is independent of separate fasteners and tools therefor. Lifting levers, also molded into the upper rail, provide for easy removal of the carrier tray from its interconnected position in a card cage.

  • Patent number: 4688148
Abstract: Packaging for an electrical instrument wherein the electrical field is to be contained in a metal card cage and the card cage enveloped in a plastic shell. Fastening towers or stems are molded in the base portion of the plastic shell and key slotted windows in the card cage drop over the tower and slid under a ledge of the tower to secure the card cage to the base. Main interface circuit boards having keyslots are adapted to interfit the protruded end of the fastening towers. Biased locking lugs enter the slots in the "seated" or "home" positions of both the card cage and circuit board to interlock the three components all without separate fasteners and with a minimum of time and effort.
