  • Patent number: 12374353
Abstract: A system may be configured to receive audio data input and determine whether the audio data corresponds to an acoustic event defined by an acoustic event profile. The system may be further configured to detect an ongoing acoustic event corresponding to multiple occurrences of an acoustic event type and, in response, execute a set of actions. The execution of the routine may be based on conditions corresponding to the ongoing acoustic event. The system may be configured to evaluate the occurrences based on the conditions of the ongoing acoustic event including whether the occurrences occur within a timer period, the relative time between occurrences, and whether at least one occurrence is detected within different portions of the time period. The acoustic event profile may be associated with a user profile. The system may execute a routine that sends a notification or directs a device to perform an action.

  • Patent number: 12340153
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for simulating a magnetic field within an electromagnetic device for use in evaluating the electromagnetic device. The method comprises: obtaining a digital design of the electromagnetic device, the digital design comprising geometric data representing a geometry of the electromagnetic device and material data representing material properties of the electromagnetic device; obtaining magnetic field data representing a magnetic field pattern that would be generated through operation of the digital design of the electromagnetic device; and converting the magnetic field data into virtual current data, wherein the virtual current data represents the magnetic field pattern as one or more virtual currents that would create an estimated magnetic field pattern that substantially matches the magnetic field pattern.

  • Patent number: 12285931
Abstract: A polymeric film, sheet, or extrusion coating is formed as a multilayered structure having at least one A layer and at least one B layer. The polymeric film, sheet, or extrusion coating is able to include at least 30% recycled content resin while also exhibiting improved stiffness and strength relative to films with purely virgin polymers. One embodiment of the present invention further presents improved oxygen barrier properties relative to existing films, sheets, or extrusion coatings. Due to the strong structural properties, the polymeric film, sheet, or extrusion coating allows for the inclusion of recycled content into applications where recycled content has previously not been able to be included, such as flexible food, pharmaceutical, or cosmetics packaging.

  • Publication number: 20240401942
Abstract: A measurement strut for measuring a separation between two relatively moveable support members of a machine (for example, a robot arm). The strut is removably couplable between the two support members and is adapted to become at least partially decoupled from at least one of the support members when a compressive force developed in the strut by relative movement of the support members is greater than a predetermined threshold. By becoming at least partially decoupled from at least one of the support members, at least some of any excess relative movement of the support members towards each other can be absorbed, thereby helping to prevent damage being caused to the strut by attempting to compress the strut beyond its minimum range of travel.
