  • Patent number: 11821419
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a hydraulic power pack arrangement that can be configured in multiple different mounting configurations. The hydraulic power pack arrangement can include a bracket assembly for mounting a hydraulic power pack core assembly and a hydraulic reservoir assembly at a mounting location such as a floor, wall, or ceiling of an aircraft.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 5, 2022
Date of Patent: November 21, 2023
    Assignee: Eaton Intelligent Power Limited
Inventors: Joshua Boone Pepper, David E. Korba, Brady Powell Dearing, Eugene Mikhailovich Grigoriev, Kelly Dale Valtr, Stephen Marshall Devan
  • Publication number: 20230102332
Abstract: An electronic pressure compensated hydraulic motor pump is controlled to provide variable output power based on a variable input signal. The variable output power feature allows the motor pump to be used with a power management system to better match the output power of the motor pump with the available power of an electrical system. The ability to provide variable output power provides beneficial power management for electrical systems that switch between different power modes, e.g., between a generator power mode and a battery power mode.

  • Patent number: 10100827
Abstract: A fluid device system includes a fluid pump, an electric motor in engagement with the fluid pump, and a controller. The electric motor is adapted for rotation in response to an electric signal. The controller is adapted to communicate the electric signal to the electric motor. The controller includes a lookup table having a plurality of performance data related to the fluid pump and the electric motor. The performance data from the lookup table is used by the controller to set aspects of the electrical signal communicated to the electric motor in order to achieve a desired attribute of the fluid pump.
