  • Publication number: 20240080638
Abstract: Systems and methods for navigating a virtual space using sound are described. Some examples include a multidimensional sound space with a plurality of nodes associated with a plurality of audio sources. Some examples of the system and methods include receiving a first user navigational input, determining a first user location in the multidimensional sound space, and playing a binaural sound associated with a node based on the first user location and the node's location. Some examples further include receiving a second user navigational input, determining a second user location in the multidimensional sound space, and playing a stereophonic sound associated with the node based on the second user location and the node's location.

  • Patent number: 7631905
Abstract: A quick connect coupling having a clip, a port having an interior annular groove adapted to support the clip, a forward cylinder, a rear cylinder, and a first transition ramp, and defines a port peak distance. The coupling also has a sealing element. Additionally, the coupling also has a stem having a male connection portion including a forward annular seal groove adapted to receive the sealing element, an annular lead-in surface, a leading support cylindrical surface, a following support cylindrical surface, a camming ramp, and defines a stem peak distance. The port has an intermediate cylinder between the forward cylinder and the rear cylinder and has a second transition ramp between the forward cylinder and the intermediate cylinder and the male connection portion has a centering ramp and an intermediate support cylindrical surface between the leading support cylindrical surface and the following support cylindrical surface.

  • Patent number: 7533907
Abstract: A coupling assembly includes a female coupler selectively interconnected to a male coupler to provide sealing engagement. In one embodiment, the female coupler and the male coupler are secured together by a pressure activated locking assembly which prevents disengagement of the male and female coupling until the internal pressure in the coupling is reduced to a predetermined level.

  • Patent number: 7469933
Abstract: A coupling assembly is provided that generally includes a female coupling selectively interconnected to a male coupling to provide sealing engagement. In one embodiment, the female coupling and the male coupling are secured together by a mechanical locking mechanism that is disengaged with a release mechanism. To prevent inadvertent disengagement, a secondary locking device or spacer is provided which substantially prevents the release mechanism from disengaging the locking mechanism.
