  • Patent number: 10706446
Abstract: One or more embodiments of the disclosure provide systems and methods providing improved customer service to visiting customers of a brick-and-mortar merchant location. For example, a customer recognition system intelligently detects and notifies a merchant when a customer is in need of assistance based on the customer's facial expression. The customer recognition system can also identify a product associated with the customer need. In some examples, the customer recognition system identifies a user profile associated with a customer shopping at a merchant location, determines a trust level for the customer based on user profile information, and based on the trust level, causes a secured product display to provide a customer access to a secured product.

  • Publication number: 20200207850
Abstract: The present invention relates to Tri-Specific Binding Molecules, which are multi-chain polypeptide molecules that possess three Binding Domains and are thus capable of mediating coordinated binding to three epitopes. The Binding Domains may be selected such that the Tri-Specific Binding Molecules are capable of binding to any three different epitopes. Such epitopes may be epitopes of the same antigen or epitopes of two or three different antigens. In a preferred embodiment, one of such epitopes will be capable of binding to CD3, the second of such epitopes will be capable of binding to CD8, and the third of such epitopes will be capable of binding to an epitope of a Disease-Associated Antigen. The invention also provides a novel ROR1-binding antibody, as well as derivatives thereof and uses for such compositions.

  • Patent number: 10646984
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a combustion-powered fastener-driving tool including an engaging element that improves tool performance by frictionally engaging a piston upon its return to a pre-firing position, thereby reducing the likelihood that the piston will end up at a position other than the pre-firing position after completion of a fastener-driving cycle. In one embodiment, the fastener-driving tool comprises a cylinder, a driving assembly slidably disposed within the cylinder and movable from a pre-firing position to a firing position to drive a fastener into a workpiece, and an engaging element. The driving assembly includes an outwardly tapered engaging element contact surface, and the engaging element is positioned to engage the engaging element contact surface when the driving assembly is in the pre-firing position.

In one embodiment, a method is provided for control vehicle operation based on natural-language guidance instructions and image data detected by a camera mounted to a vehicle. One or more targets may be identified based on the guidance instructions to identifying vehicle position and/or operation. Object detection may be performed on the image data and control commands may be determined in response to the object detection. Operation of the vehicle may be controlled based on the control command. Natural-language guidance instructions can allow for directions and/or destinations to be provided without an operator or passenger of the vehicle having an address or map identifier of a destination. Processes and configurations are provided for confirming natural-language instructions and assessing image data to control vehicle operation.

  • Patent number: 10643429
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, a physical game element such as a wagering chip or a playing card may be utilized to implement a promotion scheme on an electronic card table (e.g., using RFID or optical imaging technology). During a game it may be determined whether the element is associated with special functionality (e.g., entitles the player to a payout multiplier, special payout table, bonus prize or other benefit). The special functionality may have been previously associated with the element or associated with the element during the game (e.g., dynamically and/or randomly). In accordance with some embodiments a player is not able to readily discern the special functionality by a physical inspection of the physical game element and is only notified of the special functionality once the physical game element is used in a qualifying action (e.g., during a wager at an electronic card table).

  • Publication number: 20200037978
Abstract: A system for estimating fractional flow reserve (FFR) includes a front end application to receive image frames from an imaging system to develop a model of a vasculature system based on an observed concentration time profile at locations within the model using contrast dye in the vasculature system and movement of the vasculature system. A graphics processing unit is configured to represent a computed concentration time profile in the vasculature system using a Lattice-Boltzmann Method (LBM) to generate a representation of the vasculature system. A dynamic controller tunes a velocity field based on a mismatch between the observed concentration time profile and the computed concentration time profile at the locations within the model to obtain a best estimate of the velocity field to perform a FFR measurement.
