  • Patent number: 5012164
Abstract: In a horizontal deflection and EHT generator circuit, the supply line is connected directly to one end of the primary winding of the EHT transformer through a series switching element, and a unidirectional element connects that end of the primary winding to the supply line to enable energy recovery to the supply line through the unidirectional element during and following retrace.

  • Patent number: 4774439
Abstract: A horizontal deflection stage for a raster scan device (e.g. a television receiver or a monitor) comprises a deflection generator, a d.c. supply regulator for the deflection generator, a voltage controlled oscillator providing drive pulses to the deflection generator, a phase detecting circuit for locking the oscillator to applied horizontal synchronizing pulses, and a sweep circuit for sweeping the oscillator through a range of frequencies until it achieves phase and frequency lock with the applied horizontal synchronizing pulses. An input to the regulator serves to control the output voltage of the regulator in accordance with the frequency to which the oscillator is locked. Thus the horizontal deflection stage automatically adjusts the horizontal timebase, and the regulated voltage supply of the deflection generator, in accordance with the frequency of the applied horizontal synchronizing pulses, without any operator adjustment being required.

  • Patent number: 4059159
Abstract: A tractor has a power lift mechanism controllable automatically in known manner by implement draft load sensing apparatus. This apparatus comprises two leaf springs which are spaced apart in a lateral direction relative to the tractor, the springs being connected at their front ends to the tractor and being adapted to flex in the lateral direction but being stiff longitudinally of the tractor and vertically; two hitch links each connected to the rear end of one of the springs; and equipment for transmitting to the power lift mechanism a control signal derived from any variation in the distance between the flexible portions of the springs.

  • Patent number: 3935932
Abstract: An agricultural tractor has individually operable near-side and off-side brakes with respective brake levers. Said levers are disposed one at each side of a master lever, the three levers being pivotable about a common axis and each provided with a foot pedal. The master lever carries a pivotally mounted cross-bar arranged to operate both of the brake levers with an equalising action when the master lever is operated. One of the two brake levers is fixed to a transversely extending horizontal shaft journalled in a sleeve which is mounted on the tractor and rotatably supports a clutch-operating lever.
