Abstract: A dry, solid composition comprising humate combined with a phosphate source is disclosed which significantly increases the phosphate absorption efficiency of phosphate fertilizers. Solid humate/phosphate fertilizer compositions, optionally comprising a binding agent containing a soil microbe food source and/or a phosphate-solubilizing microorganism inoculant, their use, and processes for manufacturing these compositions are disclosed.
