Abstract: An extender sleeve is provided for elongating and converting the shaft of a conventional golf putter wherein to enable the upper end of the converted putter shaft to be anchored against a portion of the golfer's body, such as the neck or belly, or gripped by one of the golfer's hand's, whereby to improve the swing of the golfer when putting a golf ball. The extender sleeve may be separately attached and removed from the putter shaft as desired or extended and retracted into the shaft for storage when not in use.

The at least one weighted member is adapted to removably mount onto the shaft, and is defined by two temporary lockable interdigitating members and a locking member. The stopper, which attaches to the bottom end of the shaft, further aids in preventing the at least one weighted member from inadvertent disengagement from the shaft.

Abstract: A tennis training device for aiding in tennis-swing training and warm-up exercises includes a tennis racket or like-shaped frame having handle and head portions spaced apart along a central axis, a central opening disposed between the frame portions, an axial shaft the opposite ends of which are removably mounted to the head and handle of the frame, and at least one weight member removably, slidably, securedly, mounted to the shaft at a preselected location in the central opening whereby to enable the player to adjust the center of gravity and weight balance of the frame. In a preferred embodiment, two temporary lockable interdigitating members and a locking member that engages the shaft to position the weight member at the preselected location define the weight member.
