Abstract: An asset discovery tool and process in which information from a customer's hardware and software environment is collected and the resulting customer data is processed using statistical algorithms based upon supplier specific information. After the data is processed, the asset discovery tool use the results to build reports that help customers make decisions regarding their application portfolio which will optimize their information handing system deployment costs.

Abstract: An optimized deployment solution which uses a front-end to automatically drive deployment of an information handling system. The optimized deployment solution queries multiple data locations and creates a manifest that is used to automate the deployment. The optimized deployment solution decreases an amount of interaction that is needed from a technician thus decreasing the potential for technician failures.

Abstract: A deployment optimization model that identifiers and categorizes issues (such as key cost and quality drivers) in information handling system deployment and provisioning. The deployment optimization model is used within a deployment and evaluation tool which provides based on this model, a set of processes and tools for evaluating information handling system deployment issues of customers. Based on information derived from the deployment and evaluation tool, it is possible to determine a customer's current cost to deploy information handling systems as well as a future cost if various recommendations are adopted.

Abstract: A client deployment assessment tool which provides a structured approach to evaluating a customer's information handling system deployment processes and tools. The client deployment assessment tool accurately estimates costs and shows how an information handling system provider could reduce those costs.

Abstract: A flow-frame for forming a subassembly; said sub-assembly comprising a bipolar electrode and an ion-selective membrane mounted on said flow-frame and wherein said sub-assembly may be stacked together with other such subassemblies to create an array of electrochemical cells; wherein said flow-frame is formed from an electrically insulating material and comprises at least four manifold-defining portions which also define pathways for the passage of the anolyte/catholyte. Such pathway may define a labyrinthine path which may be spiral in shape between the manifold and the chamber entry/exit port.

Abstract: A process for the fabrication of an electrochemical cell component which comprises an ion exchange membrane joined to a frame member formed from a dissimilar polymeric material, which process comprises the steps of: i) coating the border of at least one face of an ion exchange membrane with a solution in a solvent which is miscible with water of the polymeric material from which the same frame member is made, or of a polymeric material which is compatible with the polymeric frame material; ii) optionally allowing the said coated membrane to stand and/or drying the said coated membrane; iii) placing the coated face of the ion exchange membrane from step (i) or step (ii) in contact with said frame member; and iv) joining the coated ion-exchange membrane to the said frame member.
