    Abstract: The disclosure is of conveyor belting and a method for its manufacture. The belting comprises a plurality of substantially parallel, uncrimped textile yarns of a specific character, embedded in a matrix of a specific class of ionomer elastomeric resin. The belting of the invention is useful to manufacture conveyor belts which exhibit advantageous properties of wear resistance, flexibility, stability in running, structural integrity and resistance to food, oils, fats, and like staining.
