The platform can also include a second leg having an arm with an extension and a first sleeve, the first sleeve pivotally engaging the central pivot post. The platform can also include a third leg having an arm with an extension element and a second sleeve, the second sleeve pivotally engaging the central pivot post. The platform can include a capping member and a release mechanism.

Abstract: A collapsible platform assembly, method of assembly, and method of packaging is provided for herein. The platform assembly includes a first and second stand portion, which are connectable to one another to form a stand. One or more legs can be connected to the stand portions to provide a desired height to the stand. A cooking surface can be maintained by one or more arms extending from the stand portions. The assembly can be packaged in an compact container to provide advantages in shipping costs and logistics.
