  • Patent number: 11266261
Abstract: A utility hook assembly is disclosed that conveniently secures to a planar surface such as the bottom of a counter or cabinet, and has a plurality of hooks that extend perpendicular to a mounting base. The base may be half of a hinge plate with a plurality of eyelets that are collinear at an edge of the hinge plate. The eyelets each receive one of two L-shaped rods with an upturned, outwardly formed tip that cooperate to serve as hooks such that the hooks can swing/pivot about the eyelets. The legs are separated by a metallic spacer that maintains the integrity of the rods. A magnet is mounted proximal to the hinge plate in a position that intersects the arc traveled by the spacer when the hooks are fully rotated parallel to the horizontal plane. The magnet captures the spacer, which in turn allows the hooks to be hidden when not in use.

  • Patent number: 11164428
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an arcade type vacuum crane game that includes a turntable with a target support structure such as cylindrical, open ended target holders to prevent targets from toppling before, during, and after playing the game. The turntable is rotated by a centrally disposed motor having a shaft that receives a projection on the turntable to rotate the turntable in the direction of the shaft. The shaft receives the peg therein, but does not carry the weight of the turntable, which instead is supported by three peripheral rotatable wheels disposed about the motor on a bracket. Because the turntable is simply mounted over the shaft using a fitted mating, the turntable can be lifted off the motor without tools and another turntable set on top of the shaft and wheels quickly and easily.

  • Patent number: 11011029
Abstract: An arcade-type crane game has a vacuum pick-up device for capturing a target such as a laminated card that has ticket values printed prominently on each side of the card, and moves the captured card to a reader such as a barcode reader or RFID reader to read the card's information, e.g., value. The game then returns the card directly to the playing field, and a ticket dispensing machine delivers the proper number of tickets to the player. The use of cards reduces the space needed to display the targets, and the return of the cards to the playing field means that the proprietor rarely if ever needs to access the targets or the playing field. By placing the card reader inside the playing area, the entire process after capture can be completed in a matter of seconds, from capture to transport to reading to returning and ticket dispensing.

  • Patent number: 10902704
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an arcade type crane game that includes a target support structure with cylindrical, open ended target holders to prevent targets from toppling before, during, and after playing the game. Here, cylindrical is used in its broadest sense to mean a regular upright structure that supports a target that is round, square, oval, rectangular, etc., and not limited to circular cross sections. The cylindrical holders allow the targets to be lifted upward out of the holder without resistance, but prevents targets from tipping over and knocking other targets over in the process.

  • Patent number: 10875702
Abstract: A high speed paper ticket dispenser is disclosed wherein a motor that drives a drive roller having a smooth contact surface is in proximity with an idler roller. An endless round belt that moves tickets rapidly serves as the drive roller. A supply of paper tickets from a tray, roll, or other is fed between the two rollers, and the motor causes the driver roller to push the tickets through a ticket dispensing slot in a game or other device. To prevent improper withdrawal of tickets from outside the dispensing slot, a wedge or brake is applied by a motor lever or solenoid between the ticket chain and the drive roller to resist movement of the tickets. The wedge or brake is automatically withdrawn when the motor engages and the drive roller begins to dispense tickets.

  • Patent number: 10792559
Abstract: The present invention is an arcade game with a crane mechanism that uses a suction device to capture and extract beverages in aluminum cans. The arcade game may use a rotating playing field where the targets sit on a turn-table type rotating disk, or the targets may be arranged on a stationary playing field. The pick-up device can use a joystick or other type of player controls to maneuver the pick-up device over the intended target, and then lowered onto the bottom surface of the inverted can in an attempt to extract the target from the playing field. The pick-up device preferably uses a suction cup that, if positioned directly over the bottom surface of the inverted can, will make a seal with the can and allow the can to be lifted from the playing field. If the suction cup is not placed directly over the can such that a seal is not established, the pick-up device will not be able to apply a fully negative pressure between the can and the pick-up device, and the attempt will fail.

  • Patent number: 10514024
Abstract: A detachment system for a delivery aerial drone is disclosed. The detachment system uses a pump to apply a negative pressure to a suction cup for attaching an object to be delivered. The weight of the object is coupled to a mechanical switch, such that setting down the object opens the switch and disconnects the pump. Once the pump is disconnected from its power source, the suction is removed and the object disconnects from the vacuum system. The weight of the object is coupled to a mechanical switch, such that setting down the object opens the switch and disconnects the pump. Thus, the object releases once it is gently placed on a surface such that its weight is removed from the drone.
