Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing purchase intention and consumer preference data to merchants are described. In an embodiment, the process includes receiving, by a server computer from a device at a merchant location, consumer check-in data and then retrieving consumer preferences data and purchase history data. The method also includes retrieving merchant data indicative of items and/or services offered by the merchant, and determining purchase intention data indicative of an item or service that the consumer intends to purchase based on at least one of the consumer preferences data, the consumer purchase history data, and the merchant data. The process then includes transmitting the purchase intention data in real-time to a merchant device at the merchant location.
